I love him!!! He is soo funny he always tells you stories of his experiences and you would learn a lot. I used to look forward my Tuesdays just to go to his class. he makes you feel more comfortable about communicating to other people. you take a quiz every Tuesday and a midterm, super easy class!!

By far the BEST professor thus far. His lectures are fun and easy. Before taking a quiz he tells you a goofy entertaining story, pay close attention because he pretty much went over your quiz and gave you all the answers in that story. Copy everything he tells you to write down, be neat, highlight subject and in pen write definition. Easy A!

Class with Mr. Oates is like going to a comedy club. Great storyteller. He sometimes skimps on clarity, and his lectures don't always relay all the material on the quiz, but who cares? This is an easy A. He often lets the class off HOURS early. The average length for a 3hr-scheduled class is perhaps 1.15hrs. Do the easy reading, show up, and pass.

great teacher. very easy class. im EXTREMELY shy to the max and i got a B. just do all the quizzes n all the speeches and youll pass. youre supposed to read the book for the quizzes but the quizzes are basically common sense so if you dont want to get the book you dont have to. hes a GREAT teacher. totally recommend him!
