Somewhat hard to understand but tests are fair. Only 2 tests and homework is graded. Tests are only 3-4 questions so don't mess up. The questions are fair. If you can do the homework you will pass.

Homework and 2 tests are the only things graded. The homework is not difficult and as long as you can do it without cheating from the back and you know the material, the tests are incredibly easy. He goes over anything you've missed, no matter how obvious, until you understand it. Book is only used for homework problems and unnecessary otherwise.

Good teacher but he goes pretty fast with the intention that the students already know the subject matter. Curves the grades because his tests are only 3 questions. He has a medium thick accent. He is always answers your questions in class and during office hours.

Had this guy for 245 many yrs ago and he was a good guy, helpful. Had him a couple of yrs back for 245L and he was incredibly nasty, unhelpful, even abusive. Don't know what happened in between, but if he's burned out on teaching, he should quit. He recently won "outstanding professor" award. Based on what I saw, the award is a non-sequitor.

Great teacher and currently, the only proessor teaching 245. He explains the functions of gates and gate systems with extreme clarity. The exams are based off problems he does in class, only the numbers are slightly changed. The most important thing is...SHOW UP TO CLASS!

Dr. Grewal is an excellent professor. His communication skills are excellent, his lectures are well prepared, and he is very reasonable. He also has a lot of experience, and can be a good mentor for future systems engineers.
