Professor Rich is deffinatly smart but she seems to have an attitude problem. When peopke would ask for help she would talk down to them. Also she would change the date of her assignments from one day to the next.

Myra is a very interesting professor. She is very knowledgeable and one of the better professors I have had. Her class is a lot of work though. I had her for Women in American History and had to do 10 single spaced papers and a 10 page paper for a final. I learned a lot, it was just a lot of work! You only get 3 classes that you can miss!

Also had Myra for Theory & Practice. I would take any class she teaches. 1 page reading responses (your thoughts on the assigned reading) required plus a reaseach paper. Great class and wonderful instructor.

Lots of class discussions and writing, but what else would you expect from a history course?

Comment:
This is a tough class to keep interesting as it's a pre-requisite theory class for history majors/minors. Nonetheless, Professor Rich does an excellent job of guiding discussions and keeping the flow of the class moving. She is an excellent professor and her passion for history is obvious.

I just found out about this site and looked up my former professors. I had Myra Rich in about 1978 and I still remember, and think about what I learned in her class.
