She is a really great lecturer and keeps it entertaining. She doesn't share the slides but she does pace herself so you can take notes. She always gave study guides for the exams and if you were able to fill those out you should have no troubles on the exam. The one research paper is challenging but interesting to do. Overall a great class!

This class was easy if you go to class. Lectures are not posted online and she does not like it if you take pictures. If you listen in class it is an easy A. Tests are all multiple choice and the final was easy enough to get 100% on. She gives extra credit questions which are helpful. The essay might be stressful but it is graded leniently.

Great Professor. Passionate of what she does. No book and no section. Thought it would be an easy A but it definitely is not. The tests are all fill in the blank, so you need to know the material. Great class if you apply yourself and are interested in infants.

Each test (2 midterms, 1 final- noncumulative) had a handful of questions that were unexpected. It's a lot of material for one course, so she expects you to familiarize yourself with the textbook, which is difficult because it's massive. She keeps lectures interesting. Some videos. I only used the book while filling out study guides.

Very nice lady with interesting lectures and a big heart! I loved going to class because she always had interesting info, the tests were easy, and shes very lovable. Not that much readings, I did some and didn't do others, but still got an A. Would highly recommend! Can't wait to take more classes with her!

SHE LITERALLY TELLS YOU WHAT'S ON THE TESTS. Easy class, studied a day before tests, read often, managed an A. Going to Cabrillo for child observations were annoying but cute at the same time. Definitely love her.

Lectures and sections are mandatory, because slides are not posted online. Three exams but not cumulated, and one research paper (require observations at children center). Go to lectures and take good notes, read the textbook and understand the concepts, then you will get an A in this class.

Her gentleness and passion for the subject made me work harder. There are kind of a lot readings and quizzes, but I'd say it's worth not having a final. She always has a good answer for one's questions. In my opinion, what sets her apart from other teachers is how much she cares for her student and asks how they're doing.

Her infancy class was one of the best psych classes I've ever taken. Her lectures build on current research in Psych; articles were dense but explained very well in class. She's very approachable, even the babies that visited the class love her. If you put in effort to the work she assigns, she'll always help you with anything that confuses you.

Nameera is super approachable and has a very gentle disposition. Loves babies too. Lectures are actually relaxing and she tells you literally everything on the tests and doesn't test you on anything she didn't talk about. Light hw (articles), daily quizzes on the articles (but you only need 10/~30),2 midterms, 1 paper, no final. Take her class :)!

I loved this class. No book was required. Lectures were always engaging (time flew); she has this way of grabbing your attention, maybe because she's pretty funny. The tests were straightforward (just know the study guides inside and out) and the final paper assignment was easy too. Class was always chill, not too much work. Definitely recommend.

It's not an "easy A". You have to put in the effort. Attending class everyday, taking good notes, doing all the assignments and studying for exams will get you an A. Very interesting, informative, articulate and conveys the info well. Initially,I wasn't enthusiastic about peds but she made it one of my favorite classes. You will learn a lot.

VERY easy. However, you won't learn anything from taking this class. The scope is so narrow. No textbook is used which (only research articles) which means that the scope of the class is very very narrow. Take it if you want an easy A. Take someone else if you actually want to learn something.

Nameera is a fantastic professor. She is very smart, articulate, a critical thinker, and she's really funny too. She does great research. She might seem intimidating at first because she's so smart and you don't want to sound stupid, but she is very cool and easy to talk to, very friendly willing to help, and fantastic overall.

LOVE LOVE LOVE NAMEERA!!! She is my favorite psych professor (and I've had Quinn before). She is very clear and straightforward. The study guides are extremely helpful, if you know everything on it you'll ace the three tests. She makes the subject really interesting and she's a great researcher. Can't wait to take more of her classes
