Comment:

He set good timelines of when things are due that week, sometimes it would be due in 2 weeks. It went in a random rotation of 3 different weekly activities. Typical online class despite. Bad at returning grades.. took weeks even if the quiz was graded when I took it. Do what he says on time, fairly easy grader, you'll get a B if not an A.

Comment:

Horrible feedback on assignments and never posted grades online. Since this was an online class, I expected a fairly decent D2L page but his was a nightmare. It was so hard to understand which week we were on and he rarely ever engaged with the class. He never took the chance to get to know the students. Overall, a horrible experience.

Comment:

Absolutely loved his class. Easy A as long as you take notes on his presentations. Very helpful and understanding guy. Some tests are open note for the last 10 minutes so make sure to write some down. Would definitely chose to take another one of his classes.

This was interesting and informative course and I learned a lot in it. Instructor is caring and helpful and recommend this class. Be prepared to read and do the activities following the instructions and you will do well in this class. Good class!

The WORST online teacher I've ever had. His D2L page is so disorganized and ALL of his paragraphs that he types (like for assignment or something) there is ALWAYS a typo so you can't understand the sentence. The quizzes you were only given and hour for 40 questions and he is so uninvolved when it comes to feedback on things. DON'T TAKE HIS CLASS

I took his online intro to sociology course and he is the worst online teacher I've ever had. Literally he only puts out his assignments like 2 days before they're due. He is so unorganized and anything that he types there is 100% going to be a typo so you can't understand the sentence. It was so frustrating being in this class. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

loved the course and the teacher is great. Cares for students and is very helpful, you learn a lot in this course and class activities are fun and interesting. I recomend this course and would take another class with the teacher .

This professor was not involved at all. Never really got an idea of who he was, but his class wasn't that difficult. Quizzes are really hard, 20 questions true/false. Only 5 discussions, and 5 papers (1 and 1/2 page) throughout the whole semester. No feedback on any assignments or anything. Take this teacher if it your only choice, its not that bad

Enjoyed this class and he's a excellent teacher. Activities are engaging and class is interesting and fun. I learned a lot in this class. would strongly recommend taking it and attending all sessions. caring professor and always ready to help.

Great and interesting course. There were short quizzes every now and then that'd be on a couple of chapters (probably to make sure you're keeping up with the reading), and then there'd be exams that would cover a couple of chapters as well. You had to do a few short essays based on a certain topic, and participate in online discussions. Easy class.

Nathan last minute picked up this online course. He also did not have his name on this site so maybe he is new. This online class was a breeze. We do a reading and assignment weekly which goes between a discussion and a small paper (both very easy) I get no feedback or comments from him on D2L , but he is good at responding if you email him.

Good course and teacher. Im new to D2Brightspace and like many others in class found it bit confusing first. But teacher instructions on it greatly helped including lectures and course stuff very informative, discussions/assignments good and evaluation-feedback timely & useful. Learn to use D2Brightspace and will have no problem or blame teacher.

Online class so total of 4 weeks. We have less than a week left and have only seen grades updated ONE time, I have absolutely no idea what I have in this course. Lazy professor who assigns 1 1/2 page essays, discussions, and course mate assignments yet gives no feedback or grades and is utterly unclear about expectations. AVOID!

I emailed him several times regarding the course and did not hear back once. I doubt he actually reads anything posted on a discussions board or deposited into the dropbox. I would never take a class with him again.

Awesome class. Follow the course outline and you wont go wrong. Class is informative and the assignments are interesting. Grades fairly - do all the work required and submit in time and you should do well. I learned a lot in this class. Would recommend this class.

Copies everything straight from the textbook. BE WARNED.. Had a high A, 100% on all assignments and exams. Got a B overall? I emailed him about expectations because online they were unclear, his response was a copy&paste from what he put online! Document EVERYTHING, even if you think you're doing well because you'll need it if you get a lower grade
