Amazing Prof. I had him several years ago. I still use my notes from his class and wish I could take more classes from him. Open minded but doesn't put up with lazy thinking, in himself or society. Your brain will be spinning after class every day, you'll have so much to think about. One of the best two profs I've ever had!

He is by far one of the best teachers I have ever had. It angers me to read the other comments made about his "pompousness." It's ironic because he strives to be just the opposite. He is an intellectual but is never pretentious. Yes he is Ivy league quality, but he chose to teach at a community college so that not just the privalaged could benefit.

Best professor I ever had. You don't have to agree with his views to learn from him. He teaches critical thinking, and encourages dialogue. Does an excellent job of preparing you for papers, and is extremely clear. Opinionated, but not at all hostile or obnoxious. Dignified and very respectful to us

Very interesting teacher. He's not proud as others suggested but he does have very high moral standards. He teaches interesting things about the world and gives literature assignments that open one's mind to different views of philosophy and reality. Highly recommended.

I enrolled in this class and found it useless. He is interesting and amusing, but he doesn't TEACH anything. Don't take this class if you want to learn anything.

Has a lot of fascinating ideas but is rather opinionated. It helps if you agree with him. On the other hand, most people get A's.
