Overall a pretty good instructor. Sometimes he takes a long time to get to the point, which can cause me to loose focus, but he's just trying to utilize the class time and work at a pace where everyone can follow along. Showing up to class is important, most of examples in class can be used in the projects (saves time and frustration).

Ok teacher, but really doesn't seem to help students that much. Sometimes he also seems to get off topic. Some of the rubrics for the projects are about as clear as mud, and he will teach a topic a day before its due. You may be better off in this class just using google to find the codes you need then asking. For me, Google saves me in this class!

I have taken 6 of Peter's courses in the last 2 years. I would definatly continue to take courses from this instructor. Although they are very time consuming he uses many different methods to get his point across. If you have questions he is always there to answer them and he replies to emails very quickly. I give him an A+

Peter is one of my favorite teachers at SCC. If he sees your putting in the work he will be more then willing to help you out by making you THINK about your problem. If you want to actually learn the basics of Programming then I suggest him as a teacher. The class is hard but fun at the same time. Thanks Peter for EVERY THING!!

Peter has great helping skills if you are a good looking female. others in the class have to wait till break. Will take 20% of your grade if you turn in your work after the due date(2 days only) but then takes forever to grade them. By the time they are graded you have the same thing wrong on many of them due to him not grading soon enough.

I've had Peter for 2 classes now and I must say are the classes difficult, Yes but nothing thats worth having in this life comes easy. Peter is willing to sit down and help you through any problems that you are having, all you have to do is ask. Would I take another Peter Johnson class, without a second thought.

I have had many of his classes and I believe that he needs to update is content more often. He is really into programming and it seems to consume his life and there for it consumes your life if you take his classes prepare to have no free time or time with your family.

I have had Peter for 3 different classes now (and will have two more this fall) and I can honestly say he is the best instructor their. Are his classes difficult, yes they are. Is he a fair instructor? Absolutely! Any questions you have he will answer but you have to be putting in the work. He will have no compassion in you are not!

his passion for web developing really comes through to the students. He will inspire you to succeed. He also is very helpful and good to talk to. If you show promise, he will connect you to customers and help you get some $$ for your work!

Programming fundamentals, not an easy topic to learn. Peter did a good job. The assignments are one a week and he lays out exactly what is expected in the guidelines. If you fail his class it is because you did not put in the work. read the material and you will do fine. He is a good teacher and will help his students succeed!

i thought peter was a good teacher. His class is hard but he teaches it really nice with all his tutorials. Show up and get on his good side. He is really nice and he does know what he is talking about. He helped me out alot with my programs. I think he is top 3 in the CC careers here at sctc.
