Professor Orr isn't for the weak. If you are used to skimming through your classes with minimum effort, you shall not pass this one. It takes EFFORT and ATTENTION to pass her class. On the bright side, her assignments always state EXACTLY what needs to be done, and she provides clear examples of A+ work. Just follow the instructions to the T.

She's a very critical grader but genuinely cared for our class and gave us many outlets to reach her at. She was extremely kind and understanding given my personal situation and she was honestly one of the few professors that showed empathy and understanding towards her students.

I had her for an online class and genuinely liked her. She gave us her number to call her if we were confused about anything. I did that in the beginning of the course and she explained everything and was very helpful and nice. her answers on the phone are definitely more detailed then her emailed answers. Lots of writing but very fair grading

Professor Orr is not understanding at all and is very hard on her students. When emailing her she does not answer any of your questions. She assumes that the little information she gives you is enough. She is not a good professor at all

She gives up on her students, does not clearify instructions and will not email students back. I do not suggest taking her class. I have lost all respect for her.

Orr was awful. I took her for an online class, and she offered absolutely no help or clarity for anything. She doesn't even read emails before responding rudely to them. She acts like every question you ask her is an inconvenience.

Priscilla is a god awful teacher. From the first day of class she was rude and late every single day by at least 10 minutes. She assigns more than one paper at a time and does not explain what you need to do at all. I am a mac user and she does not accept anything written in google docs or pages. Her attitude is rude and i wouldn't recommend her.

She is a great woman, but an awful Professor. She isn't even an adjunct Professor, either. She has been nationally recognized but is very inconsistent. I got an A in her class but my class overall performed VERY badly. She doesn't make you buy a textbook, she makes you buy a journal you use 4 times. If you take her you better be good at English.

This professor is extremely unclear about her assignments. In her mind she is right all the time. It's her unclear way or your wrong . Priscilla is also rude when you ask her questions, especially over email. Also She tells vaguely explains the assignment and if you do not do it to her exact liking, you will not receive anything higher than a C.

I am currently taking English comp one with Ms. Orr and I am having a really tough time. She is very rude regarding answering questions and every assignment she posts in unclear. She makes you buy her book for the class and you don't even use it. She says you miss assignments when you don't. She has no posted syllabus. Avoid this teacher.

Very nice professor. I enjoyed her class and learned quite a bit about short literature. She is very precise in her decisions and lessons, like if answers aren't worded her way she will correct you. She will give you the proper answer so you're not left in the dust. Overall very pleased with the class.

Very helpful, took time out to meet me and help me to understand poetry. Came in half way through semester due to assigned professor's maternity leave and did so pretty much flawlessly. If you give it your best and communicate you will be fine.

This professor was awful. She was inconsistent in her grading. She did not post a syllabus until a few weeks into the course, and it was not even for the right semester. When she answered questions she was rude and unclear. I would not recommend her to anyone.

Does not know what she is talking about sometimes. Seems like class is not trying to teach you how to be successful. Orr failed me on an assignment that I completed. Easy class, but not realistic. Work is really easy.

She is a tough cookie when it comes to grading papers, but she makes writing interesting and forces you to give it your best. You probably won't ever get a 100% on a writing assignment, but if you work EXTREMELY hard you may get a 98%! I recommend her if you enjoy writing and are good at it.

Her English 101 class did not seem college level to me. Orr basis most of the class requirements on what she thinks that class can (or is willing to) accomplish rather than what a college level class should accomplish. She is wishy washy on when things are due. Her personality came across to me as sweet and sincere.

The class itself wasnt too bad,but 2weeks before the semester ends she decides to change the grade weights and my grade goes down 5pnts.One essay assignment was "answer a essay question on page X" so for the TITLE I put "Question#3"...she almost failed me for plagiarizing (everything was properly cited) and she wasnt sure which question I answered

She makes you buy her book that she "wrote" which is just exerts of other peoples work. She's obsessed with racism against black people and fails to see everyone can be discriminated against. Her grading is terrible and she'll fail you at the last second.I love English but she made me cringe going to class.Get Anncona, save yourself.Total scatterbrain

I'm sorry, I signed up for English, not sociology. All the papers we worked on we're based on psychology and then we further explored it. She says she is always right, and the class is wrong. She holds a scatter brain thought process so she goes from point A to point D. My final note, she became "depressed" trying to grade our essays. Seriously?
