Comment:

Professor Efrat is a great professor, however his test not so much. They're based on the old test, so if you don't have a test bank from an old class, don't this class. I read the whole book and the test wasn't on the book. Watch the CPA videos, and do the self-assessment the questions will be from there. That is why I gave him a 3

One of the best professors, but be warned he does give alot HW but it will prepare you for the midterm. This is not an easy A but it will prepare you for the field.

This course is for Spanish interpreters of VITA and it can be an easy A if you have the time and space in your schedule. There is a course that requires 24 hours (2 unit) or 48 hours (3 unit) total accomplished by the end of the semester. Also, there are a few videos and quizzes that go along with the videos online. ALL work is turned in online.

Dr. Efrat is the Director of the MST program and he is absolutely FANTASTIC! You will never work harder, but also will find it wonderully rewarding! Dr. Efrat is a true "Mensch." who loves what he does and loves the students!

This class is pretty difficult, but Prof. Efrat explains everything very clearly. The class consists of weekly problem cases, a midterm, a cumulative final, and a tax return project. Be prepared to study hard if you want an A.

Prof. Efrat is passionate about the subject, organized, clear, and very helpful. Prior to taking this class I was intimidated by hearing people say he was difficult and preferred grodsky as an easy way out.I personally enjoyed efrat's lectures and would take him in a heart beat if he taught other courses! He teaches at a true 400-level course!

Good professor and lecturer, very poised and professional. However, very hard grader, especially on communication problems! Learned a lot in the class,worked very hard, but ended up with a B. Always be prepared to answer questions in class; he calls on people randomly

Very organized. Keep up with the work or you'll be out of luck. The content is very difficult to work with because tax is political and you have to memorize all the nuances. Allows group work which will save you if you're busy. Very good lecturer and answers your questions. Won this year's student-voted best professor for ACCT. "Tough but fair"

You can tell he actually likes teaching. Energetic and very well organized professor who keeps you engaged (calls on you randomly in class) and explains the topic well. It's helpful to read the chapter in advance though because the slides are not comprehensive.

He is a great professor, very interested in helping students learn. In this class you have to attempt the hw but he grades for completion not correctness as he goes thru the assignments in class and explains everything that way... the exams have about 13 MC and 1 tricky essay question that requires u to understand the info. great overall

Awesome Professor!!! He is crystal clear with the subject and about what he wants from his students. Tries to make a very hard subject as simple and as interesting as possible. Be there for every class b/c his lectures are very helpful. Use his study guide/reader to study and you'll be more than fine! Highly recommend him!

Great professor but difficult subject. If anyone can make tax interesting, it's him. Read each chapter carefully and do the practice multiple choice he gives you. The practice multiple choice are very similar to the test questions and some are even on the test.
