I am taking his third course in Spring 20 and found others who are too. An awesome guy who makes classes worthwhile with a variety of projects and interesting assignments. A class guy with industry experience and global travel experience. Has good advice for career and life too. Best of the best.

Comment:

His lectures are literally him sitting at the front of room and summarizing the textbook to us. Two presentations that you pick the dates for, 6 classes throughout semester where we watch a documentary for an assignment, a couple tests and term paper. No one usually shows up unless there is a presentation or documentary bc its a useless class.

Comment:

I was deathly scared of taking this finance course but Dr. Bishnoi made it easily understandable and also interesting, especially with his other class projects involving student participation. He encourages students and is available to them as needed. I would highly recommend him to all, especially non- finance majors and foreign students. Thanks.

As someone with internship experience I enjoy Dr Bishnoi's well rounded approach to class sessions. He does not rely only on the text but has intersting projects and assignments to compliment his lectures, which have a lot of practical info. He has traveled extensively and brings good industry experience to class too. I really dig this prof

Comment:

Lecture every class, but not very long. A few papers and presentations with 2 tests. No attendance but gives extra credit for good attendance record. Really knows his stuff. Not a terrible professor to have class with, but there's definitely better.

Comment:

Non-finance majors, this is the teacher to learn from. Can be demanding, will not spoon feed, demands silence in classroom, but you will come out learning things. Explains concepts well and tests you on your learning. Can be monotonous at times but answers student questions clearly. Projects are nice too and should help in careers.

This guy is terrible. His lectures are u listen and take notes. No PowerPoints at all or no review class. The exams are not based on the lectures but purely based on the textbook. You must read the textbook and memorize EVERY single detail in order to pass the 2 exams. Didnt learn anything valuable and I teach myself by reading the textbook.

This guy is awful. Dry lectures, pointless assignments. He never gets up from sitting behind his podium. He's never clear at all about what will be on his exams. Even when asked directly about what to study, Bishnoi will give you vague, misleading answers. I learned nothing in his class that cost me thousands of dollars. Take someone else. Please.

Comment:

Outright the best, caring, humane, knowledgable, smart, experienced, professor in the business school. Dr. Bishnoi helped me with my personal decision-making giving excellent advice. His industry and consulting experience shows in talking to him. Make him the Chairman again so he can help more students take finance and do well in life.

Dr Bishnoi sticks to the text but explains everything in plain language which is crazy good for a non finance major. You have to know the concepts well although numerical applications are covered too. Class assignments are interesting and especially the mini-cases which deal with real life situations. He is well traveled and knows a lot. Best prof.

This Professor is terrible. Two presentations, 4 one page summaries on videos, 12-15 page paper, final and optional midterm. The day-to-day class itself is easy but very boring because he only reads directly from the textbook. Everyone cheats using the testbank for the exams otherwise they're pretty hard.

Foreign students love professor for his explaining. Very patience and easygoing. International traveller who brings experience to all class. Industry experience, work experience and consulting -- he has done all and enjoys dealing with students.

Great person overall! Easy A for anybody looking to take him. Just practice the formula examples he gives you. Also you get +5 on your final grade if you attend two random classes when he takes attendance.

Prof Bishnoi is wonderful. He can teach you the basics of Finance even if you are not a finance major. Very clear and gives lots of practical examples. Besides the textbook, he also uses other interesting and useful projects. Great guy.

class is so pointless, i didnt learn one thing. all he does is read from the back of the summary for the chapter in class and gives you definitions to write down. the class sint engaging at all you most likely will go through the entire class without talking. mid term and final 25 q's each, and 2 projects all easy. bad professor

Dr Bishnoi is very knowledgeable, nice to talk to, easygoing and accommodating. He can speak in a monotone but can teach you so much about current global issues that I found him exceptional in preparing me for my banking interview. Genuine human being and deeply caring towards students past and present.
