Dr. Scott is one of the best teachers at the University. He's genuinely passionate about his students and the classes that he teaches. Once he is retired, I don't think the mass communication department will ever be the same. Not only is he a fantastic teacher who inspires interesting conversation, he's also a really good guy.

powerpoints are basically the textbook, but its the stuff that he wants you to know and will be on the test. but he goes so fast you can't write it down. have to remember or have a buddy to take notes. use your textbook! he loves what he does, but nobody cares.

I really liked Dr. Scott. His classes tended to be a little dry but come on! your leaning about media history! He sometimes is funny but most of the time he just reads his power points. As long as you copy down his power points, and learn the notes, you'll do fine. The book isn't necessary, I never cracked it open..waste of money

I honestly didn't have a hard time paying attention, like some people say they did. I found his lectures to be really interesting and the anecdotes he shared made them more relatable. I loved his class and I thought he was a funny, nice guy. Great shoes.

aww...sure scott is kinda dorky and doesnt make much sense...but he's very willing to give makeup tests...you might think his test wont be hard because he doesnt really talk about anything important in class...but they can be tricky...USE YOUR BOOK!
