This class is Small Group Comm. and it is almost all group work. I took this online and that makes it even more hard. I got really lucky and had a great group of women to work with, but the class is not easy. You have to work hard for the grade. LOTS of reading & test are very hard! You can not slack off in this class or you will fail.

Dr. D is a very tough teacher, there are usually only 3-4 test in a semester, the testing is very hard! Hard to get all questions answered in time given. Group projects are big, and you must stay on top of things if you expect to pass. It is not a class for slackers. You will learn a lot in her classes. This was my 2nd class with Dr. D.

LOVED COMM3152. She definitely makes you work for your grade. If you take the time to write well, you will receive a good grade on your plans, papers, and DB assignments. Tests are VERY hard. You'll be lucky to make a C. Three exams-NO study guides (that's what makes it difficult). Assignments are clear and gives good feedback. Fast grader.

toughest grader at ECU!! All of her classes are the hardest classes I've took in my life! avoid her if you can! If not, you'll be lucky to make a C or D! She is way too freaking hard!

The material isn't hard or bad and if you study the test should be a breeze. Discussion board posts and the group project are bit tougher. She grades hard and finds every typo or error. My problem with the class was noticeable spelling errors on tests or emails. We were graded so hard on that but she failed to proof read her own work.

Her tests are extensive and difficult, study way in advanced. I am a honors and deans list student - I still had difficult with her tests after putting in many study hours. I think her tests are ridiculous and are not a true representation of the work and hours I put into her class. There is also a group project so just hope you get a decent group.

This teacher is horrible. She takes the whole semester to get grades back to you, grading criteria is extremely vague, and when she does grade things, she doesn't tell you what you did wrong or how you can improve! Absolutely my least favorite teacher ever. But, if you're like me, a COMM major, you can't avoid her. Good luck.

Very poor quality for this class. This is probably the worst instructor I have ever encountered. On one occasion I waited several days for a response to an email, finally she answers and with a definite attitude. My main gripe with this instructor is she doesn't maintain order, but allows moron students to take over the discussions. Avoid!

This is the worst professor I have had yet. She is ambiguous in her assignments, has test questions are vague or don't come from the text, no lecture, only grades some discussion boards and doesn't allow students to miss any discussion, she won't let students see their tests after they are graded. Maybe she if effective in class, but not online.

Dr. D is super! Her classes are INCREDIBLY PRACTICAL! Take her! Only complaint: group projects with no face-to-face accountability invite slackers...she asks for details & rewards those who work, but you still have a VERY stressful semester trying to motivate slack morons who know they'll never meet you...

I took her class over the summer and she was way to vague about the requirements. We had to do journals every week, do community service, a group project on top of 3 exams in 5 weeks. She also barely taught us ANYTHING and she had to curve one test by 18 points bc they were so bad. Avoid her classes if you can.

This is the biggest no-value-add rip-off course. Instead of putting together a useful portfolio or studying an emerging challenge, we were required to create resumes, cover letters, networking, and self-promo flyers - all of which are offered free via the Career center. Unclear assignments, no lectures, and the final based on life story book.

Horrible professor. She is scatter-brained, idiotic, most likely stoned & just plain stupid. None of the material is relevant to graduation & life after college and the class is a scam of money. If you have the choice to take with ANY other professor, I suggest you do. Her grading is ridiculous as well, she cant remember her own grading policy.
