Lookup translations for texts online, study those, take good notes, include page/line #'s she discusses in class, and themes, kno w the signifcance of things. Dr. Becky has got to be one of the best professors on campus! A brillant woman who certainly knows her literature. Reading is required, however, novels she chooses are interesting. She makes it easy to join in the discussion in class, and she truly cares about whether you understand the information. I highly recommend taking her!

Excellent class. I took her for 2 sections of writing intensive honors english and really enjoyed it! Getting involved in discussions and getting the most out of the reading (even if you only have time to skim) is a MUST! Show up to class, pay attention and read the texts, and you'll get high marks.
