Ron Riksen has been teaching at KCAD for a very long time, and has valuable experience to share. There are always interesting discussions in class. He is very good at helping students articulate their design ideas and sincerely cares about their success. Such a sweet man! He's the type of guy to be like "look both ways before you cross the street" whenever you leave his class. If you do the work and always show up to class he is a very easy going guy, but maybe a bit too easy going. I feel like my high school teachers graded tougher than he does. Overall, GREAT teacher.

Nice guy, but has a tendancy to leave class for long periods of time. That makes it hard to ask questions. and "Good roughs" doesn't make sense. Finals are good. Roughs are quicker, not as neat.
