I took Prof. Cadmus's class many years ago. I'm looking him up on the internet now, so that should tell you something. Twenty years out, there's not alot of teachers you remember! I was not a science major, but Dr. Cadmus always supported my learning. I'll never forget this man and his beautiful telescope!

Nice professor and easy to approach outside of class for help. He is very understanding of non-science majors and does all he can to clarify points you don't understand. I liked to slow pace and extra help. He is a bit awkward, but you just have to get over it and approach him when you need help.

Prof. Cadmus cares a lot, and he may not always be the most socially accomplished, but he works hard and devotes so much time to teaching and providing students with access to the observatory. He's a good human.

Great, and lots of fun! I'd love to take Physics in the Arts again from him! He provides wonderful examples and is more than willing to explain something more in depth if you don't understand it the first time. His study session are really helpful!

The worst class I've taken at Grinnell, and that's saying a lot. Cadmus thinks non-science majors (for whom the class is geared) aren't smart, and it shows.

Made the astronomy class for non-sci majors a lot of fun, with observatory trips and demonstrations. Social skills are poor, and he's confusing to talk to outside of class, but overall a good teacher.
