I took many classes from him. He became my master's committee chair. He wasn't easy, but that is because he was teaching students HOW to think--not what to think. He would spend hours upon hours outside of class helping students. I became a poli sc professor because of him. I wasn't looking for an easy grader or a push over.

difficult class. older man, who thinks us youthful students arent very educated about politics which i guess is true. he does expect a lot of knowledge but you just have to try hard. take good notes because what he says is on the tests. no homework just studying for tests and in class essay tests.

This professor has obviously forgoten that he is a POSC 100 level instructor. He must think he's teaching a graduate course at Harvard Law. Seriously, he has ruined my interest in politics. If you get this instructor, you'd better drop him fast!!! His Mutli Choice Exams are extremely difficult and essay exams even more difficult. He grades Harshly.

WILL DAMAGE TRANSCRIPTS, DROP NOW! Horrible teacher. Failed 95% of my class. Will fail you, then tell you how his Law Graduate Students think he's great. Doesn't he know it's a G.E. course, and if all your students fail you are doin somethin WRONG!

SO BORING! what is he teaching? its not polysci, its greg hayes boring opinions 100. multiple choice tests = impossible. essay tests = doable since he gives you the topic before. if you want a B you will need to read the whole book. an A is not possible. I received a Pity C. this 100 level class was harder than my 300 level engineering courses.

He teaches this class like its an upper division course. He may know his pol sci but he doesn't know how to teach it. He should just retire. His class is impossible unless you think like him. On his test there's possibilities of correct answers, but you will only get it if you think like him. His thinking is very bias. Don't take him.

Way too hard. He gives you study guides for the tests that do not help at all. At least the essay question you get in advance but he grades them very hard. Multiple choice tests much more difficult. Everyone in the class did poorly and he still didn't catch on.

MANNN!! I thought this was suppose to be an intro class. I had to drop this class. It was hard, boring, and long. He seems like a nice guy, but when it comes to grading, ooohhh weee he's tuff. When I went to his office hours there was already a long line of people that were dropping or failing.

grades very hard on the essay exams. The multiple choice tests are tricky but a little easier. The entertainment i get out of the class is arguing back against him, its the only way i stay awake in a 3hr long class. He lets you out early if most of the class isnt there.
