This is by far the best professor I've ever had! Dr. Lillie actually wrote the textbook, which is used in Geology of National Parks classes in universities across the United States. It is awesome! Well written and very clearly illustrated. Dr. Lillie give very inspiring lectures based on his experiences working in national parks. Take this class!!

Seriously gives the hardest tests ever. He will give you a picture of 2 rocks and then asks your like 9 questions about where those rocks "might" be from. He doesn't understand that not EVERY student LOVES Geo.

Dr. Lillie was a nice guy and very passionate about his work but he had hard tests and refused to give study guides. He also called students out when leaving class and often was very frusterated when only 10% of class would show up for lecture, he took this out on the students that actually came.

It's a boring subject, but he made it interesting. He always has a cool fact or anectdote about the subject matter. The homework is super easy, and he offers a lot of extra credit. I really learned a lot from this class.

I think I learned more in this class than any other Geo class. He did a really good job of explaining things. The class was also structured very well. It was challenging but very doable. He brought pizza the last lecture also, which was cool.

Difficult to study for the one test in this class as there was no study guide and it covered a lot of material. Interesting topics but lectures got repetitive and I found it hard to keep focused and interested.

Not that bad of a class, easy to get by without doing much work, but the field trip to Crater lake sucked! (It rained/snowed the whole time!)

I took this class thinking it would be fun. HAH! Possibly the worst prof I've ever had. Same stuff over and over again. And if I see one more slide of Crater Lake... Save yourself now and avoid this man if at all possible.

Dr. Lillie reminds me of a munchkin. He wound stand in front of class and twittle his fingers. The class was dull and boring. I could have learned everything from this class in three weeks, not three months.

A horrible teacher. Would go over the same concepts over and over again. Only had like 5 slides the whole term. His wife needs to come and take him back to the home.
