One of the most brilliant researchers of our generation. Professor Boulton pushes the boundaries as an intellect and is truly dedicated and passionate about his work. I took VEN126 and found the concepts difficult to grasp, however, I still enjoyed his jokes and mustache.

Extremely passionate and dedicated professor. Takes a huge amount of pride in educating students and will do anything possible to see them succeed. Incredibly knowledgeable; loves to discuss the topic in depth with anyone who seems interested.

Class was biomanfactoring, so he chose to teach about winemaking. 1st MT was 15 questions and final was 30 questions (cumulative). Tests are multiple choice, but he likes to chose questions that are pretty detailed. He posted PDF's of lectures, so you could skip out.

I've taken VEN 126, 135, and 140 from this professor. I have never (and will never) met a professor who is as devoted, passionate, and knowledgable as Roger Boulton. His lectures are incredable and the ideas conveys are invaluable. Beyond the classroom, he is always available to the students, and would never turn away somone in need of help.

A very good teacher he takes all the time in the world for you if you have any questions. He is a true asset to teaching not only because he is my uncle but because he loves what he does.

A bonafide genius. His enology lectures may be targeted for grad school chemical engineering students at times, but the extraneous info will never show up on an exam. Has many good contacts in the US and overseas for internships.
