Do the homework, go labs every Friday. Make sure to do the practice exams as the exams themselves are identical. He's very interesting, but I really struggled in the subject (calculus) itself. No need textbook, he gives you printed notes in which you'll annotate in his classes. Get Grant's tutoring actually, if you aren't familiar with calculus.

An odd but fasinating prof! Definitely the math professor I've ever had. He really likes to talk, which makes his explanations rather long, and at times rather strange. Make the effort to get to know him and attend the labs. He notices these things and it really pays off at the end of the session!

M. Gaudet is not very clear when it comes to explaining and teaching to the class. He should focus more on examples that support his formulas, etc., to avoid confusion during labs.

He's an odd sort of fellow who'll take half an hour to answer one yes or no question. There is no textbook for this class, only a packet of handouts. Suggest you look for another professor if you're the kind who needs concrete examples to learn. His grading is kind of funny.

I HATED his class. I thought he was totally unclear in all of this answers. Every time I asked a yes or no question, he would tell me about the time he was on the farm when he was a kid. Don't get me wrong, he was very passionate for his subject. But if you didn't get what he meant half the time, you're pretty much screwed.

He's a philosophical math teacher. Try to enjoy his analogies even if they don't pertain to Calculus. He answers questions but it takes him 30 minutes. If you want the theory, the formula and a bunch of examples, find another math teacher. He's very interesting but not a typical math teacher. Enjoy!

very helpful- go to all labs. but when you ask a quesiton- be prepared to listen to diluted explanations with odd stories. He once actually started rambling about negative sheep....i still have no idea why.

Thinks he's funny, but he's not. Not horrible teacher, but very unorganized. Can be approachable, but be careful not to analyze him too much. He seems like he thinks you're dumb, but he really doesn't. Take his classes.
