Dr. Roy is a great professor! He really knows the subject matter. You do not need a book for his class which is awesome! He gives you all the notes that you need to study for the tests. I got A's on all his tests because he teaches you exactly what you need to know. Dr. Roy is very friendly and he will make time for you if you need any extra help.

Dr. Roy is the absolute best Crim professor. Makes it really easy for you to learn and do well. He handouts notes on each chapter of the book, and his questions come straight from the notes. Just make sure you address him as Dr. Roy, especially in emails. He gives plenty of notice when he cancels class. If you don't do well, it's your own fault

An absolute horrible teacher. He sent an e mail twice when weather was negative 14 below stating it was to cold to have class but the university didnt cancel. He sent the e mail at 5am and several students showed up. Foreign and impossible to understand. Assigned someone to give a quiz that didnt show up. Learned nothing,and you cant understand.

Dr. Roy leads an interesting discussion & prints off notes so you don't have to buy the textbook. His only assignments are 4 "pop" quizes & 4 exams, but he does give extra credit quizes towards the end of the semester. He is ending the class the week before study week, and removed the final as well as any research papers. Just don't skip his class!

Dr. Roy is the best crim professor ever!! I take all his classes online, no book required. Class based on 4 exams and that's it. You have your print-offs right there in front of you, and an hour to complete each exam. Impossible to fail his class! He's great!

Dr. Roy is a good professor. Do not need a book, go to class and pay attention to the handouts that he gives out. The tests are based soley on these handouts, and he goes over what you need to know for the tests. Go to class and study those handouts and you are guaranteed atleast a B.

I loved this class. It was easy. 2 tests no books! Homework was a breeze and out of the two presentations we did 1. I advise taking him at least once at ISU! My Math 102 Prof was hard to understand. Prof. Roy is NOT!

Roy's awesome as a teacher. You can really b*s around with him and if you go to class (which you never really have to) extra credit will definately come at some point when you're one of the 5 people there. His exams are all multiple choice and true false and can definately be tricky but he's willing to give you hints and if you study, it's not bad.

This is the worst teacher I ever had. He gives multiple-choice tests & the questions are vague, unclear and picked totally at random. You could study for eternity & it won't do much good for he will ask you a question from a footnote! How does that speak to your knowledge? His classes are simply not worth it. I wish I could get my money back.

Roy is a GREAT teacher.I don't think it is hard to understand him.He is a fair and nice teacher.Unlike some professor's his class is straight forward.If you are a good professor i do not think you should have to carry on class the full time.

This teacher is the worst teacher I have had at ISU, he is lazy and rude to students. He has a tendency to get off the topic very often and the class still doesn't last even 30 mins.
