Fujita sensei is by far the best language teacher I have ever had. She is hilarious and a super adorable old woman. Her class is very interesting but attendance is mandatory and she gives a short quiz every day (basically getting a 100% on the quiz is guaranteed if you pay attention). You will actually learn Japanese in this class and it is so fun.

Comment:

Fujita sensei is an amazing teacher! Shes very energetic and supportive. She makes sure that everyone gets a chance to participate in classeven though I'm not particularly fond of doing this it really does help you learn the content. Overall, I had a great time in this class and have learned a lot in such a short time.

Comment:

Fujita Sensei definitely makes learning Japanese fun. She is enthusiastic and connects well with students, making the class very interactive. A down-to-earth teacher that promotes social interaction while keeping a focused curriculum. The class is participation heavy and has daily quizzes pushing you to make sure you don't fall behind.

Really great professor. What makes the class hard isn't necessarily her, It's the content you learn. It's a lot of new conjugation for Te-form and short forms and past tense short forms. She speaks in Japanese the majority of the class (you'll thank her later) except for important concepts, she teaches those in English so students don't get lost.

Sakae Fujita is one of the best professors I've had. Even though I'm not a Japanese major, she is hilarious and tries very hard. She does really well because she makes her students participate in class. Even though it was Japanese 1, make sure to do homework and study for quizzes. It was a fun class, I kind of slacked off at the end.

Fujita is the best teacher i have had in a long time. She is very motivating and funny. I have a lot of trouble with her class and feel bad when i don't score well because its like i disappoint her. But i have trouble asking for help. you really have to know what you have trouble in. other then that hands down the best teacher!!!

Best class I have ever taken, Sakae is the most enthusiastic teacher I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. She makes class very enjoyable and hosts a very welcoming environment. I was always the type to shy away from talking in class, but she made me eager to contribute to any discussions! Honestly looked forward to every class meeting.

I've taken four, soon to be five quarters (JAPN 2, 3, 5, 50, & 103) of Japanese with Fujita-sensei. She is the absolute best! All teachers should strive to be like her. You'll get a good grade if you study hard & participate. Japanese is a difficult language, but she makes it much easier & enjoyable to learn.

Best teacher ever. Without Fujita sensei's enthusiasm, wonderful teaching style and friendly nature, I would have had an aweful time studying Japanese. She is great! an amazing and energetic teacher. She is fun and goofy and makes class interesting. She'll sing, do morning exercises, and have fun teaching you. She believes the class should learn conversational Japanese, not just from the book, so she'll teach you what's rude, informal, and formal.

Fujita-sensee is just awesome. Extremely engaging, and very silly, yet the pace of the Japanese grammar is steady. I'm a CS grad student, and this class is what I do with my spare time because she is so fun; it isn't like work at all.
