She is a great professor. At first I wasn't too sure about her but, further into the semester, I realized she just had fairly high standards. I walked away from this class with alot. She is now my favorite teacher. No kidding.

Dr. Van Pelt definitely has high standards. She won't just take crap for an essay and give it an A. But, if you screw up the first time she let's you do revisions. This improved my writing a lot. She's more than willing to help, but you have to ask for it. With the revisions, easy notebook grade, and extra credit, her grading system is very fair.
