Comment:

Prof Jourdain is the best. She is willing to explain anything to you and is very accessible outside of class. She will only speak in French during class so be prepared to even ask any clarifying questions in French. The tests are fair and she is a fair grader too. Overall 10/10 professor and class. Lots of group/partner work in class.

Comment:

One of the finest professors that Stony Brook has to offer. Prof. Jourdain is well organized, extremely intelligent (and not just in her field,) and has so much patience with her students it's astounding. She really makes learning French a pleasure, and is always there to help in her office hours. She comes extremely well recommended!

She is a great professor who teaches the class very well. Her patience is very high so don't be afraid of her. Also, we use the textbook often, in class and for homework so it's necessary. Very nice and informative.

She is absolutely awesome! I seriously recommend her. She is without a doubt one of the best professors I have ever had the priviledge of having at Stony Brook. She always gives out helpful handouts, she's so incredibly kind, and she has a great sense of humor. She also engages the class in discussion so that we aren't as afraid to use French.
