Prof. Clark is an outstanding person to take a class from. Clear, funny, professional, organized, experienced, and knows and has what it takes to make a living in the film business. Class objectives are clear. Midterm and final, some in class work, but no other homework.. A real pleasure and a good learning experience. A+

One of my favorite film professors. He's very honest and funny which makes for an entertaining class even when you've just finished a silent film. Really cares about his students and gives helpful tips on looking for a job. What is discussed in class is on the midterm and final, so as long as you show up you'll be fine.

Prof. Clark work as a professional writer in Hollywood for years on the shows Coach and Northern Exposure. He is filled with knowledge and truly cares about his students. His lectures are great and filled with stories from working first hand in Hollywood. I took his Genre Studies: Comedy class and it was amazing

A professor who knows what he is talking about. Clark can talk forever and I would be completely okay with that. If you don't watch the films, you won't pass. His discussions on the films can be long, but he doesn't make them boring. Only does a mid-term and final exam that make up your overall grade so take notes. Great class.

Sean knows what he's talking about when it comes to film. He is really funny. The movies you watch in class are either really boring or really good. He gives extra credit if you go support certain events in the arts department (film festivals, theatre plays, etc). Midterm, and final is what gives you your overall grade. Overall, great class.

Clark deserves more credit than what is given to him. There is wisdom beyond his obscure teachings. You watch movies and learn key concepts. The only way to study for the two tests that are given is to watch the movies and pay attention to EVERYTHING. He asks some crazy questions but they are all from the movies. He likes participation

He's awesome, I enjoyed most of the movies he showed in class. He definitely knows his stuff. No textbook needed. He doesn't have a sign in sheet or anything so you don't have to come into class, but I'd recommend it. You'll only have two test midterm and final, no homework or anything. Just show up, listen to his lecture and enjoy the film.

He is a good, clear teacher who likes to joke around, but other wise gets to the point. As long as you take good notes, his tests are easy. You watch a movie, he lectures and points out the facts on the movie. Write these down. He will always clarify for you and is open to your opinions. Attendance is not mandatory but get the notes!

Clark has been pretty chill each time I've had his class. He does tend to go off on tangents, but they are often fun and interesting. His tests aren't too difficult but they do require u to think outside of the box, which can be difficult after zoning out during a semester of movies. Either way only take Clark, Dias, and Melguaard at UNLV if u can

Although he is the cutest thing you'll ever see when he walks into the classroom with his innocent face and that cute little hat on...don't let it fool you. But damn, he is good looking. A bit negative at times but tolerable.

Clark, a former sitcom producer, rubbed me the wrong way the first time I met him -- he's very ****ure, dig? -- but his Cinematic Structure course is The Truth. Too many film skoolers learn about gadgets but can't identify and critique story elements, which pisses producers off, so take this class seriously. It helped me pay my rent in LA.
