Very interesting lectures. Made me want to study more in linguistics which is one of my worst subjects! He gives very detailed outlines to how he wants his exam essays and papers done. Gives good examples in class and brings in humor to help you pay attention. If you are interested in something he will go out of his way to discuss that topic w/ you

Good class. He gives interesting lectures with some helpful videos thrown in every now and then. He has a shy personality, but I think he does a great job with the course! I would definitely recommend to anyone. He has a great personality and seems like he will bend over backwards to help out his students. Take his class you wont regret it.

Do not take his class! I took the online portion and at first he seemed to be pretty chill. Turns out he gives absolutely no feedback and has unrealistic expectations when it comes to time management. Final consisted of 3 3-5pg essays and 6 short responses. Available at 8a and due at midnight.

He doesn't care whether you are in class or not. He doesn't take roll. He is smart but incapable of communicating what he knows. Bring No Doz tablets to class.

This class was so boring, the professor was smart but very boring presentation. Easy class with no attendence, but everything is taught off a blue background powerpoint, with no excitement, or interesting knowledge.

Very smart, and lectures are always interesting. The class is very easy, and got me interested in linguistics. Also very easy, and he does not take attendance.
