Took him for both Juvenile Justice and Corrections back-to-back. His lectures are guided (notes are on his website). Take notes well for his quizzes (fill in blanks), and you can also call him if you're unclear. Expect weekly quizzes and a research paper. Very nice, charming and knowledgeable man. Juvenile Justice is a bit harder than Corrections.

Hard class and a quiz every week. No exams but if you dont use his words on the quizzes he will take off points. was assigned a paper but he didnt even read them. Just looked for the correct format and graded the formatting issues, not the content. All quizzes are short answer and fill in the blank questions. So be prepared

One of my favorite professors. There's a quiz normally every week, but you always know when you're having one. Write down what he says word for word and study your notes and you'll do just fine. If you don't come to class, you won't do good on the quizzes. He really wants you to do well and truly cares for every student. Take him if you can!

Easiest criminal justice professor I've taken so far. Everything is clear and he posts YouTube guides and makes weekly announcements for assignments. I had to buy this online thing where you do quizzes and shared discussions which were extremely easy. My final was an evaluation of the class. Recommend taking this prof.

Great teacher that laughs at his own jokes. This class is super easy. He goes over a study guide in class, then you have a quiz over it in the next class period. It takes an hour max to study for his quizzes. They are 7 questions. He requires a term paper, but just checks the format so you can literally write over anything. Recommend 10/10

Batch is a fine professor. He is very lecture heavy though. You should use his study guides, and you will do good. He gives partial credit, and I have never made (or seen someone) make below a 70 on his quizzes. He is very passionate about this class. However, it isn't the most interesting class.

Take Batch if you can! He has a test every week, but he goes over the answers in a study guide during class. Tests are about 10 questions fill in the blank but since there are so many it isnt bad. Word for word answers are best but not required. Gives out his cell phone and is very approachable! Only one paper and its graded on format not content

This is my second class with Batch. Love him. Super funny. You have 10 quizzes, he gives you a study guide for each quiz. Very straight forward in what he wants. Quizzes are short answer, but come literally word for word from the study guide. Can be reached anytime, gives out his personal number if you ever need him. DEFINITELY take him!!!

Batch is a good guy and has a unique teaching style. I literally copied his lecture word for word. Gives 10 quizzes and one easy paper, that's your grade. Do not buy the textbook you won't need it at all. I didn't open mine. My credibility: made a 95 in the class. Copy lectures word for word. Paste word for word on quiz. Profit: you made an A.

Batch is a horrible professor; he wants you to learn his material word for word. Essentially the class is 95% memorization; in short you wont learn anything. Also I heard he was present when the wheel was invented.

I'm about to tell you how to pass Corrections: go to class, take your laptop, and write down every single thing he says word-for-word when he goes over the study guide. Go home, memorize it. Memorize every word, like a script. And you will make an A on every test. Hard work, a lot of work, but doable.

Wants so see his students succeed. His test are just like the study guide, but he is a very picky grader. Going to class is a must if you want to pass the test. There are a lot of test though so if you do bad on a couple you still have some to make up for it and he drops the lowest so that helps! No other grades. Textbook rarely used. Take him!

He tells you exactly what will be on the tests, seriously he tells you word for word. I haven't used my book once and I've made an A on every test. He gives a test or two a week which is good so you have a lot of grades. I would definitely take him again. If you need help tell him he wants to give As, he cares about his students just pay attention.

Expects you to anticipate what he wants for answers on tests, the instructions are not complete nor thorough. Can't make up his mind, says he wants you to answer things in a simple enough manner for children to understand but will dock points for not using some SAT vocab word he likes in a definition. If you can avoid him do.

Just ridiculous, he thinks that memorizing HIS definition for terms is all that matters. Wants you to read but the book will give you the wrong definitions. You honestly can't tell when he is ranting and when he is teaching in his lectures. He's passionate about he material but a terrible communicator.

Oh Batch. Prepare to teach yourself if you take Stats (3602), as his lecture is extremely confusing, but the material is pretty easy. I gave him a 1 for clarity, but a 5 for helpfulness, as he genuinely wants to help and will answer his phone at almost any time. He provides all the material, but you'll need to get a study group or tutor.
