Professor McPherson was very helpful when I had questions. She did not hesitate to schedule an appointment for help or clarification. She seemed like she actually cared about my education. No tests or quizzes, just reading, weekly assignments and short papers. She makes sure you understand the content before moving on. I would recommend her!

Professor McPherson is perhaps the best teacher I have ever had! She is very demanding,but she encourages the best from her students. She is always fully prepared and willing to engage students who are there to learn. She knows her stuff and her passion for her subject matter is obvious. Only taker her class if you really want to learn.

Professor McPherson is the best teacher I've ever had. She made things easy to understand but not necessarily easy to get done. She always made sure everyone understood before moving topics or assigning any work. Her homework always helped you understand the topic, and it extended your mind, making you think critically. I'd take her class again!

Great teacher. She expects students to go above and beyond, but expects nothing less from herself. Lots of feminist readings, but all very interesting. Sometime she belives the only way is her way, but she is nice. And I would defianetly take her class again.

Professor McPherson seems hard on the outside but really wants students to go above and beyond.If you show her that you want a good grade and are respectful of other students, you will get what you put in.I did notice she was a bit judgemental towards some students, but this is usually only after they showed little care for their grade.

Reading some of these comments disturb me. Professor Mcpherson in my account has been one of the best professors I have ever had. Very intelligent and articulate and it seems to me she cares about her students. I believe if you do whats asked from her you should be ok. I also have to agree with the last post. She is a Hottie!!

Like the others said, shes hard&can come off as rude @ times, but I liked her personality.If you can't handle someone who's blunt then good luck in the real world! I don't like school, I'm just going to get through, but she made this class fun and actually made me learn a lot. If u read the assignments & try u are fine.I'll take her class again

I had Professor McPherson last semester and she made me want to quit college all together!!! I am transfering from QCC because of her. She is a very unhappy person! I think she would be a better professor if she would loosen up a little, and treat her students with a little more respect!

I took her in an honors class. She is so miserable all the time. I believe she thinks her students are stupid if they can't do what she wants perfectly. I love school and I love English but I didn't look forward to going to her class. She made me feel like a weak student. I won't take her again.

(Honors class) Ms.McPherson is a difficult professor, but I learned SO much from her! Her class is worth taking if you are willing to work hard. I say give her a try. You will be amazed with how much you know by the end of the class. Unlike any other English professor on campus.

Plain and simple... shes hard! Don't expect an A unless you are a GREAT writer. Re-write papers exactly how she wants them and you will be okay. Sometimes in a bad mood but thats nothing new with her she only expects the absolute best 100% of the time so beware.
