If you can, TAKE THIS CLASS!! She is easily the best English teacher I have ever had. The homework is easy, you just have to write one page responses. If she likes you (which is very likely), you can hand things in late without late penalties. The tests are easy if you have read and done your work. Book is needed but I used the one at the library.

Piper was OK, but didn't make a huge impression on me. Which was good because it wasn't a class I needed, and it was nice to just be able to show up, kinda check it out, leave, and still get a good grade. Teaches straight out of the book, seems intelligent, but not real well versed in this particular subject. Still, a good experience. Cheers.

I took her coarce honors, I recommend her to every one. Very eash and free to express your own opinions. Reading short stories is required and use of analytical skills. A total of three three page papers is also required. She is attractive for a older woman...JMG

I really enjoyed Dr. Piper's class. She is easy-going and clearly loves her job. I strongly recommend her to anyone at ECC South. She was one of my favorite teachers wile I was at ECC.
