Tahira's classes were boring and long. I do not feel as though i took any information away from the course at all. She has the habit of skipping ahead of herself during lessons, which made things very confusing sometimes. Beware of Fishbowls, and the science project which is both pointless and unrelated to the course.

What was this class about? Why were there so many repetitive assignments? Terrible teacher. unapproachable and not very helpful. If this class wasn't mandatory no one would have taken it.

I didn't think sustainability could be engaging and interesting, but Tahira made it so! This is the second class I have had with her and both have been stocked with good information presented in ways that made it relevant and engaging. I had hoped she was going to be teaching another subject!

Tahira was fun to learn from as she shares lots of great real life stories and I was interested and found the information relevant. I plan events as part of my job and would like to do more and the information was helpful and easy to follow. The assignments and tests pushed me to think about what I was learning.

I found Tahira to be clear in her teaching and in how what we learned would benefit us in looking for work. We learned how to plan an event and she shared many ideas and resources. I think this is a good class if you want to be in hospitality or events.

Tahira loves to talk about her self and rambles relentlessly. Recommend typing notes cuz you can't keep up with her. She disappeared the last 3 weeks. Didn't open text book once. Projects: tool for her to steal ideas, which, she is very worried about. Overall, I learned nothing. I think BCIT should re-evaluate this woman.

She's a bit hard to read..seems unfriendly to begin with. She does respond to emails quickly if you have questions. I wish our class project was similar to the other classes though, in that we're given an actual event to plan versus just making up an event from scratch.

Event Planning like the best and I like totally like liked it cause Tahira, though she is in her thirties or like something, she teaches to those of us that are like just out of highschool and like makes us like feel good because she talks like us! Tahira, other than saying like more than once on average per sentence, was an alright teacher.
