Absolutely love and respect Professor Nichols. She's very laid back and easy to talk to. I had no problem going to her class or doing the work. There's about 4 papers to write but all simple and most of it is done in class. She also does peer review work which you can't not get an A. I love her.

Comment:

Professor Nichols is one of the great ones. She is so caring and passionate about reading and writing that it makes it fun to develop as a writer in her class. The class starts with the "hardest" assignment and you work your way to the easier stuff. I would absolutely love to take another course with her.

Very down-to-earth & cares about instilling passion in her students as well as making assignments that are either realistic or fun! Class is discussion-based & things are gone over in person, so you need to go, but you will be entertained & informed! She is very easy to talk to! Work goes "hardest 1st" for an easy end & we even have movie days :)

I took her class two years ago and untill this day she is the best proffessor I ever had ! Her lectures are so intersting. I was always looking foward for her class. She is just the best proffesor ever ! You wont regret taking this class.

Dr. Nichols is just a wonderful soul! She is so interesting, entertaining, funny. She is super smart and she is always willing to help you. She starts with the hardest writing assignment at the start of the semester, which is good b/c it eases the pressure from any other classes that might have a lot of work towards the end. Be prepared to read;-)

You cannot meet a better professor than his! Very inspirational person and blessing to this earth. You learn a lot in this class and she makes it so fun . The writing assignments are easy to do because they are about you as a writer. If writing isn't your strongest point then this is your class because you will grow.

Tanya is an amazing professor! She is very passionate about her job and her students. She makes every assignment clear and does everything to help you pass with a good grade. You can find the fairytale textbook online and you only need to buy the one chapter book. This class was always entertaining!

I loved her and the class. She is very helpful and you gain a lot from her class. If writing is not your strong point you will really benefit from taking her. I felt very comfortable writing all my papers and they where easy subject to write about. She is a very politically active person and interesting things to say even if you don't agree.

Nichols is an Awesome teacher! She's very funny and entertaining while lecturing. She begins the semester with a research project but after that the assignments get easier. She's an easy grader so if you don't want to work too hard this is the class for you.

She gives you an option to start with the hardest assignments first at the beginning of the year and then do the easier ones as the semester goes on. WOW, after the first few assignments the class was so easy and rewarding. She's very liberal and loves protesting. Just a heads up. Shes awesome!

Great Professor she really cares about her students. Was so nervous about taking a writing class but she gives you all the information you need and always does a writing workshop before the papers are due. Make sure to have your rough draft for the workshops and she will give you great feedback. I easily got an A and its is totally achievable!

okay let me start off by saying that she is an amazing teacher! i would've purposefully failed this class just to take it with her again. You have the option of writing one 10 page paper or 2 five-page papers. There are other little things you have to do but she makes everything so much fun. It was such an amazing class and easy 4 units (:

By far has been one of my favorite professors. Class was so easy and all the essays were fun to write. You only need one book and its the final project which is a group on, but it is super easy.

Write your stories, give other students feedback, and show up for class. That's all it takes. Tanya is amazing. I took her twice for the same class. She always offers useful advice and has good insights . This class really helped me strengthen my fiction writing skills and learn new things.

I adored this professor. I have never been happy about going to an early class but she was so entertaining with any material she gave us that I had no problem going to class. She is easy going and will answer your questions, she gives clear instructions, and the 4 assignments you have all semester are relevant and enjoyable.

She's so awesome! She's an amazing professor who I which everyone had the chance to take in their college careers. She will make you love writing and reading. She's hilarious, thoughtful, funny, and brilliant. She's a great professor. Take her class! I promise at the end of the semester you'll wish she adopted you. It is not a difficult class.
