She was a very hard grader. I took this class online and the word load and reading was a ton. She is also very condescending which I hated! Also the textbook is expensive and you do those online connect questions which took sooooo long.

Love the subject, hated the professor. Extremely condesending and offered no help. If you take her class, expect HW and quizzes every week. I don't mind the work but she was so unapprochable. VERY slow grader.

Comment:

Prof. Fahimi is a good instructor. She is passionate about politics and she has strong opinions, but she keeps it professional in the classroom. Her lectures are structured, mostly powerpoints. Recently, she switched to online mandatory quizzes. They're a breeze!! The textbook is expensive bc of the online access code, but it's so easy. Show up, A.

she can be confusing about how she wants her papers written, if you just write it exactly like she tells you with the outline paper she gives you even if it DOESNT make sense you will get a OK/good grade, just reiterate exactly like she tells you in class onto the written tests and ask lots of questions or go to office hours to clearify with her.

I learned nothing. All the homework is online and gives you a lot of points which is nice. But her tests and quizzes are online too which just means shes too lazy to make her own quizzes therefor her lectures mean nothing and they are really boring. This class is an excuse for her to tell her opinion. She's nice though.

Pretty easy class. Lectures aren't mandatory and there's really no need to actually go to class. Online homework every week that doesn't take much time. The material can be pretty confusing but as long as you use the book for everything you'll easily pass.

Class was very straightforward. Most assignments were online and merely reading the assigned reading or understanding how to skim chapter and use the index will allow anyone to get a passing grade. To get an A you need to do well on the essays. The prompts are very specific on what they want and if you follow them getting an A should be no prob.

Attendance is mandatory. multiple choice tests are all online and only two papers. I didn't read any of the material and still got an A. all you need to know is how to use an index and skim text. get involved in class and she will make it more interesting. don't get involved and it's long lectures. I would take her class again.

Political science is generally boring to begin with and she does okay job of lecturing. it can get boring, however, if you look at her syllabus the way she grades makes her class easy. Just do good on two papers, 40% of your grade, and the rest is online multiple choice. great teacher and is very helpful and understanding.

An extremely heavy work load class for only being 3 units, you will be required to read three text books, do an online assignment and quiz each week. All quizes and tests are based off books so you cant skip out on reading, Survived her class with a B but worked extremely hard to get it. If you dont enjoy poli sci dont take this class.

Took her for summer and she gave me a run for my money. I got an A but worked really hard for it. She requires a lot of reading, homework, and quizzes. Midterms and finals had an in class essay and mult. choice, along with 2 more essays. It was hard and demanding, but she has good intentions and you really do learn a lot in her class.

The absolute worst class I have had the displeasure of attending. Homework is online, lectures are mandatory, and she doesn't cover course material in any substantial fashion, rendering them useless. It's essentially an online course where you're forced to sit in an unhelpful class for. I am not learning anything from her. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS.

Really boring. Everyday is a powerpoint presentation, and usualy we cover one or two slides because the rest of the time she rambles about some random irrlevant topic. Boring but its do-able
