Comment:

He is an absolute gem of a teacher. He is very passionate about the subject he teaches and he does an excellent job making Calculus 1 more accessible to students. He also tells tons of fun stories and his tests are 100% based off of the homework. He never gives more than 10 problems on the homework. He is by far the best math teacher I've ever had!

Trey is a fantastic professor! I took Elementary Statistics and I have never enjoyed a math class so much. He makes an effort to connect with students and makes lectures fun. He uses homework to supplement what is learned in class, but gets homework grades from in class quizzes. He prepares you well for tests and answers any questions you may have.

Prefers you to call him Trey, not Prof Smith. Honestly my fav prof. Easy class, explains everything thoroughly & will go back over as many times as needed. Kinda lot of hw but its all online & you can retry as many times as needed to get a 100. If hw avg is above 70 and only have 1 absence, you can skip all the tests. tries hard to make class fun

Dr. Smith is an amazing professor. We just called him Trey. He loves math and is willing to help where needed. He makes class very fun and has great humor. If you have 1 absence or less and a 70 above you don't take the tests. Quizzes you can use notes and homework can be done as many times to get a 100. Highly recommend him!

Dr. Smith enjoys teaching Cal 2, makes lectures really fun, and is all around a fun guy. His grading method is, in my experience, unorthodox, yet clear cut. Homework counts as extra credit on exams. Homework is given after nearly every class with a due date of 1 week, but is minimal with only around 10 problems every homework. Overall, really good!

Definitely take him if you have the chance. Uses humor to keep you interested, uses real life examples. And if between what you're learning and you're next test if you have only one absence you don't have to take the test. The homework is online and is multiple attempts, no reason to fail his class.

Dr. Smith will always be my favorite professor. He is witty and laid back but really cares for the students learning and will help you out always. Go to his office! Even if it's just to talk about other classes. He's just a great man overall. Attendance is mandatory but not a problem because he's totally cool and makes you laugh. totally cute too

I suck in math and he made it extremely easy for me to pass with an A. Just show up to class pass all the homework and no quizzes if you meet his guidelines ( no more then 2 absences and above 70 on homework) plus all homework is give online program so there is no reason to fail at all.
