GPA booster and GPA counted class. No need to know vietnamese to take this class and get an A, attendence isnt mandatory but he will bring your grade up if you attend class. Open notes tests, 3 of them but fairly easy. Very smart and knowledgable man, talks very low but hes great. You will love this class and him

kind, easy, affable, nice and down-to-earth. Great insights, well-learned: 5+ languages + a PhD in physics. Good sense of humor. 3 easy exams: total opened notes. Push grade if attend class regularly.Lots abused his easiness but I never cheat, skip a class or leave early because this man totally deserved my full respect. Tri Nguyen for president!

This class is sooooooooooo easy!!! He is very flexible and I believe he lets you use notes on his test. Even though people in his class take advantage of his kindness, he is still a great teacher overall. Sure, the material can be a bit dry and boring at times, but in the end many people take him for the easy A.

He would gladly give everyone A's if everyone came to class. Doesn't make the class too hard, and he doesn't force you to do a lot of reading because he understands you have other classes. Good readings and great class. You also don't need to be Vietnamese to take the class because all the readings are in English. Respectable Professor.

i know how lots of people heard of the super easy A for this class, BUT he did changed, attendance are mandatory now so its no longer that SUPER easy A, but still easy, though, just think twice before taking cuz its just not the same.

best class ever! super easy, taught by a super cool/intellectual/passionate man. come to class, because he'll boost your borderline grade if he sees that you attend class regularly. i won't lie, it can get kinda boring sometimes, but it's well worth taking. p.s. there are english translations, so no you do not have to be vietnamese.
