I am very bad at math so I was very concerned about this class. Ms. Johnson was a lifesaver. She truly cares about her students and will not let you fail. Half of her tests are take home and the other half she is very careful to let you know exactly what is on them. Would recommend her to anyone who may typically struggles with math.

5.0 worthy. Mrs. Johnson is the not only the sweetest professor I've ever had, she is GOOD at what she does. She teaches the class not assuming we know what we're doing. You can tell by her passion in the classroom and willingness to stay after hours and help students that she genuinely loves her job. You can't fail her class- she won't let you.

I took her for math 0010 and she was fantastic. Gives so many extra credit opportunities and always answered my emails quickly. We had two lecture days and two lab days where we worked in groups of four on chalkboards, and had two lab assistants per classroom and that really helped.

vicki is the bomb! I'm not very good at math and she made the class periods as interesting and easy to understand as she could. would totally take her again. i missed over the allowed absence mark and she allows you to make up the hours through her office hours. do your homework!

I am currently taking her class right now and she is by far the most helpful professor I have. I feel like I am struggling to catch up in her class due to not taking math my high school senior year. But whatever I am having problems with, she sees it and always offers to help me and helps me better my grades. Love her!

LOVE HER. She puts her whole heart into her students and loves them. She cares so much about your success and your learning and will pay special attention to you if she thinks you are struggling. She gives a lot of extra credit and if you have perfect attendance you get 4 points to your final grade average. SO happy App hired her. She's great.

I am absolutely terrible at math and did really well in her Developmental and 1020 classes. I love her! She is so helpful and my favorite professor at App. If you have the chance, take her! You will have to work hard but she gives extra credit; she explains things really well and you'll probably come out being better at math than you were before!

Vicki is awesome. I had her for developmental math and math 1020 and she is super easy to get along with, and she doesn't make you feel like an idiot when you don't understand things. She is always available outside of class, and is lenient in grading. I'd recommend her any day.

Comment:

I was an instructional assistant for her this fall. Being an IA means that you will be mostly grading and supervising lab sessions. She's a really nice lady, can be a little confusing at times. Always ready to help her students. Make sure you are sure you are doing things her way, because it is very important to her.
