His class was easy but if you don't study then it will be hard. His test were the hardest when compare to other teachers. He gives you 25 extra credit points but the extra credit questions are really hard.

Had an A going into the final and bombed it. Tests were hard but fair, ALEKS takes forever so don't procrastinate on it. Put the time in and an A isn't out of reach

His class is difficult, but if you go to class, go to the SI sessions, do the EC, ALEKS, and do well in the lab, you'll do ok. I thought I was going to fail the class, I'd made 67 on all three exams, but made a B in the class because of the final and my other grades. He is really nice if you go and see him for extra help!!

Originally I thought I was going to fail this class after the first test but managed to pull out a B. This class is hard - there is no way around it. But if you read the book (which is necessary), do the extra credit, and do the ALEKS you will at least pass. Always ask for help and go to his office hours! He's extremely nice and I'd recommend him!

This class is hard. But hey, it's college. Keep up with the material and there is still hope to make an A. Do every extra credit he gives (SI sessions will give you the answers or copy it from a friend). Go to review sessions and study with friends. I recommend reading the book. I didn't read and got a 67 on the exam, next exam I read the book = 95

He is very hard to understand, but compared to the other chemistry teachers he is probably your best bet. Make sure you do the extra credit because it helps a lot. He can be very hard to understand so go to SI and they can explain it more clearly.

Don't be scared by the Russian accent, because he is easy to understand and he is an awesome teacher. Chemistry is definitely not my thing, and I still managed to make an A in his class. He gives 5pts XC a week, and holds his own study sessions, which are super helpful. I would definitely recommend taking him!

This is a hard class (took it before with another professor) but he explains things REALLY well. Lots of practice problems in class and VERY helpful when answering questions outside of class. 5 point extra credit problem each week and 15 point EC problem on each test. Barely pulled a C with last professor and made an easy A with Rassalov!

He is russian but accent is not bad at all. If you really go to class and pay attention, and do the homework you will be fine. He is hard, but it's only because the material is hard. Very helpful, 5 point extra credit problem every week, 15 points on ever test extra credit, review before every test. struggled at first but I came out with a b.

great teacher. scared me at first with all his statistics and russian accent, but outside of class one-on-one he's not so scary. he knows his stuff. he gives ample extra credit and does review sessions before tests. tests need to be studied for, but he gives partial credit and at least 10 points extra for each exam. accent is not bad at all.

This guy is really intense about chemistry. He scared me at first but after a while I realized he is probobly the best professor to have if you want to learn the subject. His tests are difficult only because they require you to USE what you learn. He even showe at lab a few times. Gives really helpful review sessions and 5 points xtra cred per week

STAY AWAY from this professor. He is really hard to understand especially when taking lower level courses from him. He is a high level teacher and talks to you like you're the graduate students that he would rather be teaching. He doesn't understand that you're in a low level chemistry. VERY low course averages.

He is too hard to teach freshman or any entry level class. Avoid him if possible. Not good at explaining things on a "freshman" level. Especially if you don't know much.
