Dr. Lee is precise in giving lectures. Many opportunities to get extra credit and do well in the class; just put in the effort. Homeworks were fair, grading criteria is fair. Expectations of work load was fair. Dr. Lee is out there trying to make sure everyone learns something from the class and he really cares about every student.

Project is too easy, did not realise that a 400 level computer course would be so easy. I started 2 days before it was due and got extra credit. I did not know why this course was group projects in the past. Learned a lot.

Comment:

Dr. Lee is the most caring professor I have ever had. He was so nice any time I had questions and actually tries to help his students. His lectures weren't great, but I would watch the lectures on YouTube (Database PSU) and read the textbook and it was very helpful. The tests were easy if you knew the material. Make sure you find a good group!

Comment:

I wouldn't say he is a good lecturer but you will learn something if you do the project. Tests are heavy and make sure you go to the class before the exams since he gives hints. It was not easy to get an A but if you try and spend tine you will have a decent grade. He cares about students and wants you to be better.

Comment:

Professor Lee is a great example of a professor who cares a lot about his students. If you're taking a class with him, I would recommend going to his office hours once near the beginning of the semester so that he recognizes you, as he will help students that he knows in just about any way that he can with coursework.

Comment:

He's a really nice guy and wants his students to be successful. He encourages participation and is willing to give out extra credit. His class had three exams, homework, and a group project which I thought was a lot compared to the other W that just had a group project. His lectures are sometimes unclear due to his accent. Overall good professor.

I disagree with calling him boring. He is a great guy and is very helpful. He doesn't make his class ridiculously hard as well. His projects are actually interesting and doable. I'd definitely recommend taking his classes.

Must agree with the rest -- nice guy and approachable, even asked for teaching improvement suggestions during class. BUT very boring, so make sure you're loaded on caffeine prior to class. HW and exams straight-forward but watch out for CSIM assignments
