Very nice and a very easy grader. As long as you are alright writing papers you should do great in the class. It seemed like she spent to much time trying to get a discussion going and not really teaching new material but there was no final in the class so it didn't really matter if you learned the material or not.

She is so nice and so approachable, I know the class can be boring and long at times but she does make an effort to keep students entertained. Read the book its very helpful. And although you might not want to attend class regularly, it does help to go, she'll mention things in lec that would be on the tests. Take her class,I recommend it. Oh and t

Professor Ashmore indeed rants a lot, but most of the time they're very interesting and are relevant to the course material. However, discussion days are a bit of a drag. The course material is relatively easy, but only if you take the time to read the assigned readings. Ashmore is always willing to help.

uh,kinda boring , but if you have to take it take it. her study session are pointless because she will not answer your questions directly she'll just go in a big useless circle. it's still possible to get an A in her class.

Ashmore rambles a lot during lectures, and she even realizes it herself. She isn't a mean teacher, but she makes the test harder than you'd expect. She is helpful, but she is extremely boring when she teaches. I suggest asking questions by deliberately interrupting her. Don't take a class with her, it's not easy, it's boring and not useful at all.

She is not a horrible teacher, but neither is she amazing. She is a very nice lady but her lectures are very dry. You MUST buy the book if you want to pass the class with a decent grade (she relies heavily on it). Attend class regularly, or you'll get lost in the material. You get one midterm and a final (70% of your grade and 30% for discussion)

Wendy is the coolest teacher in the Anthropology Dept. she goes out of her way to accomodate students concerns and comentary. I there is a problem students are facing she will directly address it by the next class. Her encouragment helped to propel me to a 3.8 this quarter.

One of the nicest professors on campus. Lectures can be really boring unless you engage by asking questions or giving your own opinion. Seems to be lenient on grading and points.

Class is boring, but interesting if you make yourself pay attention. Her tests are relatively easy, but her study guides are really long. Just study main concepts and ideas, specifics not needed.
