Comment:

Very few grades, but they are mostly easy. Occasionally offers extra credit for activities in class. Two online exams that are taken outside of class with multiple attempts. He can be funny and a little rude. Overall, very easy class.

Comment:

So far he is my favorite professor at SU! He knows the material well and is able to explain it in a way everyone can understand. He likes to joke and have a good time but he also strict has rules. Show up to class on time and pay attention and you will do just fine in this class. He runs his class like a true college classroom!

I had never used excel or access before this class so it was difficult for me learn and keep up in class compared to those who had experience with it. Your grade consists of mostly group labs, one test, and a couple quizzes. You learn how to do things in class but not necessarily what those things are called so tests and quizzes are very hard.

he is a really nice man, but very lecture heavy. the tests are hard, but majority of them are independent so you can use your notes; he offers a lot of extra credit; your labs are online group projects so they aren't that bad; if you participate you'll be fine; if you are a business major this is a great professor to take

He's a nice man but not a good teacher. Doesn't speak the best English and is very disrespectful. Wouldn't take another class with him.

If you are interested in taking INFO-211, this is the professor you need to take . He works well with students AFTER class hours, and fully understands the material. He is EASY to UNDERSTAND, and I have made great progress in Excel thus far. As a student who knows the Information Systems Field, this professor help prepare you for FUTURE classes.

I am about to drop his class for the following reasons: he's very disrespectful. Always saying how stupid we are, if we even listen and all of us sell pot. Followed his instructions in class and he emailed me I would be better off dropping and I need to learn to follow simple instructions. Don't take him unless u want to lose your dignity.

Not a very good professor. First, he isn't the easiest person to understand. Second, he gets sidetracked by telling jokes or mocking students. Third, he doesn't "teach," he just "talks about" the material. Then he has the nerve to give exams/quizzes that everyone fails. He gives out extra credit, but the class wasn't worth the headache.

This class was very interesting. The tests were very difficult as well as the quizes. Do not piss him off in class because he will kick you out. But overall i still recomment the class. Go to every class and be active in class. The bonus game is sooooo clutch. Went from a 73 to an A in a matter of an hour. If you want an easy A take the class

Attendance if definitely mandatory, you have to do all of the assignments to be eligible for the bonus game at the end of the year. The material is pretty easy if you have some prior knowledge, but he is verrrry hard to understand. I bombed a lot of the quizzes and still have a B. I would probably recommend him if you just need it for your major.

i learned almost nothing in this class. he never got the myclasses section working so i think that cut out about half of the class. tests were hard and the notes were useless. the bonus game at the end brought my grade up a lot. i wouldn't recommend him though because i didn't learn much.

The bonus game at the end of the semester is the best thing about the class. He is approachable at times, but does not seem to have much tolerance. He knows his stuff, but has difficulty relaying it the class.

EASY CLASS!! He can be a jerk sometimes, and acts so hard, but the class is a breeze. WebCT quizzes are open note word for word from the book. Copy the WebCT quiz questions into Word and study those for the test, they are the exact same questions. Access group project is kinda tough, but the rest of the class will make up for it. Recommended!

Very nice guy even though he tries to act tough the first week of school. If you have perfect attendance your almost guaranteed and A. Tests are done in groups, do all the work and with the bonus game at the end you can still probably pull an A even if you missed a few days.
