Proffesor Taylor was definately my favorite instructor. I took his rhetoric 101 course and while it wasn't easy I definately had a ton of fun. Class discussions are interesting and intellectually stimulating. Ie is a very approachable proffesor who is willing to help you. It can be hard to know exactly what he wasnts but overll a great teacher.

Prof Taylor is a fabulous instructor , and pretty easy on the eyes. I think he studied under Joan Vandermolen, which explains his dynamic teaching style.

Really chill, nice guy, but wasn't much help in improving my writing. Only comments on papers were regarding grammar, which I really didn't need much help with.

Taylor was the only professor I liked last year. You will be fine in his class as long as you participate and do the reading or at least enough to have something to talk about. He is a cool guy, just talk in class and dont try to suck up.

Taylor is a really nice guy, and grades pretty well too. He didn't teach a thing about rhetoric... instead he smothered us with reading after reading on Native Americans..

Comment:

Relatively lax and open-minded professor with a good amount of essays but not many readings. Willing to go over any questions/concerns u have in his spare time. Only minus is that he hardly ever comments on papers, so to get what u (he) wants u must hammer him with questions.

It's an ok class. Alan takes some motifs a little too far. Though it was a writing class he taught remarkebly little about actual writing style, which was certainly a detriment to the overall learning experience that could have potentially been acquired. Funny guy though.

Alan is an awesome instructor. He's always making jokes in class and gets students interested in the subject matter. Quizzes focus on small details, so make sure you read. The readings aren't bad. He inspired me to take more English classes!

Prof is awesome; really funny guy who's very nice and willing to help students. It's about 50pgs of reading a night, but if you keep up w/ it and talk in class you'll be all set! Subject matter may not interest you at first, but he'll make the class worth it!

He's a really nice,funny guy, but this class is so God-awful. His book choice is terrible. He even admits that other professors think he is torturing us with the selection. In class he focuses on the most insignificant details, so make sure you do a really close reading. Random quizzes too.

Very nice guy. He loves the Red Sox, so don't let him know if you're a Yankees fan. His long hair may make him look like a stoner, but he's not. Or so he says. I was kind of scared going into this class because Native Americans didn't interest me, but now I've formed a new love for them.
