Going into this class, I was excited to take it. When it comes to math, I am pretty solid. Though Mrs. Pierce quickly brought down my confidence and destroyed my love for math. Every single class I was beyond confused with what was going on. She explains math problems in the most complicated way possible. Please dont take her, do yourself a favor.

Mrs. Pierce is a good teacher. She breaks things down for you as long as you ask her questions.She expects from students to do all assingments and be on time for class...I'll take her again if I have to.

Although Mrs. Pierce has very low ratings, I was happy that I did not see these before enrolling in her class. She is open and helpful, but questions need to be specific and are best asked outside of class. She stays on task and expects work from students. Not an easy A. You will learn math through real world application. Would take her again.

I was excited about taking calculus, but this lady ruined it for me. I don't know why she still continues to be at GPC. She cannot teach; she goes off on a tangent; she doesn't help you throughly if you go to her. I hope no one takes her class.

I don't blame Mrs.Pierce for being a bad teacher.I think the blame goes to the math department for continuing to allow her to stay at the college as a teacher.Who monitors teachers at the college?If the majority of the class is failing then i think the college needs to take a serious look at the teacher that is giving the instruction.

I am a pretty strong math student and after taking this class I am beginning to question why I even bother coming to this class anymore. In less then two months I have concluded that this teacher is out to fail every student. Then she over loads you with homework so if you do complain she will pull out your homework and say you did not do it all.

Awful teacher. She does not know how to present ideas and theories to students in a helpful way. Her test and quizzes are very hard and only consist of a few questions. Don't take this class if you want to do good. She expects every one to remember and know all math ideas and principles before coming to class and will get mad at you if you forget.

Possibly one of the worst teachers on the face of the planet. Incomprehensible teaching style, will fly threw a section in 5 minutes, and vaguely answers questions. Does not look students in the eyes, and will not help you if you go to her office. Avoid this teacher at all costs, even if it means going to a different campus. She will ruin your GPA!

She does not care about ur grade. She don't finish problems and complain about all the things she have to do. In addition, she say she will help u although, when u schedule time she is never available. IM SERIOUS DONT TAKE HER. FOR ALL THE STUDENTS WHOM GOT A C IN PRECAL, U WILL FAIL. SO,IGNORE THE GOOD RATINGS ITS THE TRUTH. ASK STUDENTS AROUND.
