Comment:

Great professor! She is always willing to help, and even came by labs early in the morning! There is no doubt in my mind that she's one of the best professors at UofA. Remember, the assigned study questions for quizzes are definitely worth your time. Lectures were lectures, but I never really found myself bored!

Comment:

Prof. Apon is one of the best here. She loves what she teaches and she loves to teach it. She is very upbeat and interesting and her class is never boring. Also, she answers all questions (mainly through email) and incorporates the GA's into the class very well.

Comment:

One of the best professors in the CSCE department. Her class was well-organized with plenty of lecture notes and a fair amount of work. Concurrent computing was the best class I took at the UofA, and it has laid a wonderful foundation for understanding different parallel architectures. CONCURRENT COMPUTING SHOULD BE REQUIRED!

She was my undergraduate honors thesis advisor.She really lets you explore yourself and your interests. You can be as creative as you want to be. Very helpful. Helped me out a lot in writing grant proposals and research papers.
