I love Mr. Flannigan! He is so nice! This class is not very hard at all. He does a lot of talking and reading and it sometimes gets boring but its well worth it. If you need help with a paper he will definitely help you out. He's one of the best professors, even though he calls on me when I don't have my hand raised or don't knw the answer lol

Professor Flannigan is extremely smart. Unfortunately, he was hardly in class for instruction. You will do a lot of self-instruction, and then be expected to turn in well written assignments. Lack of instruction becomes apparent when you get to a 200 level class. If you are an English Major, you are taking your chances.

Out of all of the Professors at PSC, Prof. Flannigan has to be one of the greatest that I have ever met. He likes it when students get involved with the reading assignments that he hands out. He is very helpful whenever you need assistance with a paper or topic for one. I will always remember him as one of the greatest intructors at PSC.

Professor Flannigan has to be one of the greatest professors that I have met at PSC. He likes it when students get into conversation, in class, about a topic or reading assignment that hegives out. He is very helpful if you need help with a paper. Great guy. I hope to take another english course with him teaching.

Out of all the instructors I've had at PSC, he will be the one I always remember. He is passionate about what he does & is extremely intelligent. I could spend HOURS just listening to him reading out loud, he was that mesmerizing. I wish I had taken his class in the fall instead of summer just to get 16 weeks with him instead of 8...

Professor Flannigan is a good professor. He is extremely knowledgeable. If you plan on being an English major take advantage and ask a lot of questions. It seems that the professors are so used to students not caring that they don't give the information if you don't ask. I had a good experience in his class and recommend him.

One time I participated in his class at I never did after because he made fun of me for giving the wrong answer. He's a cool teacher though because I got A's even by never participating. For Shakespeare we only read 3 stories which he gave us a month to read then for the final we only had to write a 1 to 2 page essay on what story we liked the best or why they all sucked.
