Professor Cheng is a great professor I don't know who these other people are talking about, but it's not professor Cheng! Professor Cheng is one of the most caring professors I've ever had. She definitely goes above and beyond for her students to ensure they are comprehending the material. I would definitely take her class again.

Good luck with Dr. Cheng. Some syllabus assignments randomly disappear after you have already completed them; some assignments get added without any notice other than email. She is scatterbrained. When you ask her for help, she either tells you the WRONG thing to do, or nods her head because she does not understand your question.

Very easy, but her clarity is awful. If you mumbled enough, she assumed that you gave the right answer. As for homework, you could show the same page of completed work all semester long- I knew a few who did just that.

not a very clear teacher...hasnt mastered english, very good spanish teacher HOWEVER cannot communicate it to English speaking students worth a crap. Is helpful however

she was pretty nice, and understanding HOWEVER i couldn't understand a single word she said in english or in spanish and was pretty lost the entire time... i definitely wouldn't recommend her to anyone that has trouble w/ accents (even though its not her fault)

When I first walked into her class, I thought I was in the wrong place. A asian woman teaching Spanish? Her Spanish, however, is very clear... her English, on the other hand, leaves a lot to be desired. Not the worst professor in the world... but a very nice person.

This class was probably one of the easiest classes I have taken at Toledo. Her english is not very good, but she did a nice job of teaching us spanish, which was what we were there for anyway. If you want an A in Spanish, and don't mind showing up to class, then she is the teacher for you.

I had her way back when, and she always felt the need to sit us in a circle also, which was freaking aggravating. Besides that I believe that English is her 5th language and it seemed like the students were always translating into English for her as she left long spaces with "UMMMM..."

Okay...she is a nice lady, but her English SUCKS! She used mostly spanish examples, which is good because I speak spanish, but it was boring for all my other language majors like french and german. Plus, the class was painfully boring in general.

She tries, but since English is her third language (after Chinese and Spanish), she can be quite difficult to understand. Also, she has this fascination with seating everyone in a circle that required almost everyone to arrive 10 minutes early to sit.
