She is the BEST! I am in PSY 202 right now & I didn't realize how much I learned from her class until I got to PSY 202. Shane's teaching method is GREAT! The way she explain things really stuck w/me on to the next PSY class. I wish I had her 4 all my PSY classes. U do have 2 work for ur grade though!

Love love love her!! She is one of the best teachers I have ever ever had at ICC! She is awesome. Easy class with lots of interesting examples and stories. Very open-minded. Many extra credits! too bad she is not teaching at ICC any more, if not, I will definitely take her PSY220! sad.

Honestly the best teacher I've ever had. Wish I could have taken more classes with her she just got hired on full time last year. She gives huge note packets with all the information you need to know for tests and she explains everything with great detail and passion. Her class was fun and she gave personal stories. I highly recommend this teacher!

I'm in this class now & she is AWESOME!!! She's very helpful & patient. She tells stories 2 help u understand the context. She gives u notes 2 study for every chapter. U really don't need the book if u study her notes becuz her notes cmes from the book. If u study u AND come to class, u will pass. If not u won't. She's very fair but not a pushover!

I love this class!!! She is honestly the best teacher I've had in a long time. She loves what she does and she makes class fun. I wish she taught more psych classes because I would take her for all of them. The tests only have what she discussed in class. Again, great teacher!!

Prof. Shane made this subject interesting and easy to absorb. She gives out printed note packets, but discusses much more in class that needs to be added. Tests are only over things discussed in class. She also offers extra credit for a few hours volunteering. Prof. Shane really sparked my interest in Psych.

This class is great, I wasn't too excited to take it, but I have really enjoyed it.Her tests are easy IF you study. No trick questions, and you know what you need to study before taking them. You are tested only what is gone over in class. LOVE this class, my favorite taken and may take more psych classes just to take her class again!

Coming into this class I hated psychology, by the end of it I enjoyed the class. She was a good teacher, very understanding, very clear and extremely nice. Her tests aren't real hard at all, they are all multiple choice. I never even bought a textbook, she teaches off her notes which she will give you. Very Easy, Highly recommend.

Mrs. Shane is the nicest teacher ever. All she does is read through notes she has typed up for the class, but she makes it so interesting. She uses real life examples for different points she is trying to teach. The tests only cover the notes, and there are only 3 tests. They are easy easy as long as you study and know the notes pretty well.

This class was so interesting! Normally on a Monday I would'nt be excited to go to a 9 AM class but with Melissa I love it! Her classes are always fun and interesting. She always incorporates real life situations and stories to her lessons so they are easier to understand! I recommend taking her classes! Easily my favorite teacher!

Melissa has that rare ability of making the material covered in class seem interesting. This is because she has such a passion for what she does, and is also very intelligent. She is also never condescending, and is always willing to help. I wish there were more intrsuctors like her.

Great teacher! I would not buy the book though. She gives you hand outs of the lecture(thank you so much for that). Basically if you attend class, follow along with what she wants you to know from the hand outs, study them, and particiapte with your group for your project, you will learn so much, and really enjoy the class.
