This was THE EASIEST class best professor I have every had in my life. Let me tell you that there is no homework, no attendance, no midterm. There is a group project you basically have all semester to do, which literally takes an hour max plus a final exam that is like 8 multiple choice questions. Do your gpa a favor and take this class.

Comment:

Great lecturer, explains things clearly and concisely and answers questions readily. He always encourages students who are struggling and never makes you feel like an idiot for saying something wrong. There's lots of written homework but he is very generous with the grading and will offer useful feedback until you get it right. Highly recommend.

Nice kind-hearted professor. Friendly, says jokes in class. Hard grader on essay worth 50% of your grade. Very helpful though; I saw him weekly on how to improve my essay, and he was always very willing to help. Final exam worth 35% of grade KILLS your overall grade, because it does not relate to what's taught in class much. Overall good professor

This class was very interesting, he just kind of made it boring. Only three things that are part of your grade. Attendance (5%), 5-10 page research paper (45%), and Final (50%). Make sure to start the paper early since the topics are quite complex. Memorize the interactive quiz answers because those comprise most of the final exam questions.

This. Class. Sucks. My attendance is 90%. The lectures were boring, his voice is monotonous. He goes off on tangents. The grade is based almost 50/50 on a paper and a final. The final is ridiculously hard, the paper was alright. Nothing taught is usable or applicable knowledge. I wish I never took this course.

Im sure the topic is interesting but he drags it sooo much. People only go for attendance. Sign in sheet is passed around but dont leave because he will random people up to show an ID before leaving the class. Its just boring and I go to every class but I wish I had never taken this class.

Boring,dry,thinks its unfair that your grade is based off two things, a final and a paper. I studied, attended class and took numerous amounts of notes, felt he was unfair with the paper and the final was very difficult.. I think alot of people in my class failed this because of the final.. You should get more of a chance of doing well

I felt really bad that after students would sign the attendance sheet they would just leave. After a half hour practically half of the Javits room was gone and that was because the sheet didn't reach the back of the room. It seemed pointless to go to class. The people that gave Fedi a bad rating are probably the ones that don't show up to class. If you show up (not sign the attendance sheet and leave) and listen you will pass. Make sure you go on his website and study the interactive quizzes to see where you're at before you take the final, then you should be okay. Fedi Rocks!! =)

You can't understand him and he wants so much effort for a pointless class. He may be nice, but he is horrible and boring at teaching. He judges you off of a paper and exam. The paper takes time and the exam is to complex for a HUI class. Don't take this class!

he's a really nice guy, and doesn't make you feel like an idiot if you say something wrong. but his class is SOOO boring and pointless. he begins conversations about topics that not everyone can participate in and then gets annoyed that there is little participation. avoid having him for 411 if you can!!

Dry and boring classes, mandates attendance but puts no effort into making classes useful or interesting, expects students to remember minute and ultimately unimportant details about everything. Powerpoint presentations are ridiculously long, and come in addition to readings of plays, articles, textbook, etc. Avoid at all costs.

He's nice, italian accent. w Go to lecture, focus during lecture, take down notes,& you should be fine. Do not start start Paper at the last min, bad idea! plan before hand, and submit early so he can tell u ways to improve your grade. 1 midterm,1final, 1 paper.
