Wonderful! She's very organized and on schedule, and she makes everything extremely clear when she gives assignments/tests. It's a easy pass with her so long as you make sure to be on time when handing things in and study her slides well for tests.

Comment:

Is overall a good professor! Although only a few tests and homework grades go into the grade book. If you are one who struggles with tests, I would not advise this class or you need to study, study! Homework is very easy!

Professor Cioffi is a lecture heavy class but does hand out homework assignments that she will still take even if its late. You do have to put the effort in for studying for the exams and she allows a note-card for only one of the exams. As long as you show up and do the work you are fine

Nice lady, she is a very fair teacher. The class is very structured and all you really have to do is listen, so it is not a stressful class at all. She is very kind when you approach her and very reasonable. She clearly is very educated as well

Long boring lectures. You really have to work for a good grade. TAKE THE EXTRA CREDIT its not hard and will really help your grade.

Comment:

Professor Cioffi class is not hard as long as you show up to class, take notes, and study. I would highly recommend printing her powerpoint notes off and filling in your own notes during her lectures in class. Her assignments are easy. For her tests, they are all multiple choice, she gives you and outline for the test, just make sure you study.

Very Nice/Sweet Lady. Class is easy if you fill in her study guides & study them. I got 95+ on every exam bc of that. But if someone tells you that this class is easy as pie, it's not! If you do not study you'll get 60s & below. Trust me. Assignments should be easy 100s. Show up to class everyday for 2pts to final average. Lectures are boring tho

I went into the class very interested in the subject. Nutrition is something everyone should know about. There is a lot of science but that's why this is a biology class. You need to keep up with the material. Assignments are easy and there are extra credit questions on the tests. I like having power poin slides because it makes it easier to study

Comment:

Overall nutrition is a good, relevant class. The tests are a little challenging, but she gives up to 6 points of extra credit on each exam. 4 tests, drops the lowest. 2 projects that combined took less than an hour. Up to 2 points added on to average for attendance. If you must take nutrition, take it with Cioffi.

Professor Cioffi is a great teacher. The material is challenging but if you keep up with it all along you will be fine. It is a science class so study is required. The assignments are easy and are 25% of the grade.

Comment:

She has no desire to connect to students. She literally reads from powerpoint all class. She is not a teacher; rather a lecturer. Stuff covered in class is almost never actually on the test. Clearly is very intelligent; just incredibly dull. I wouldn't recommend her. Taking the class with a friend is the only way to make it bearable.

Professor Cioffi does have some boring lectures throughout the semester, but she is clear on what is going to be on her tests. She does a great job of providing students with study materials on black board, and her tests correlate with her slide shows.

The whole class is her reading from slides. She is very boring and doesn't apply what she's teaching to life so it's difficult to connect what we're learning about. There are only three homework assignments so you have to really study the book to pass the tests and class. She gives study guides but they aren't very helpful. Good luck!

I thought this teacher is not nice, and she is very boring. I also think this teacher is very hard to get along with her if you have an illness. In my opinion, I will not suggested her as a professor. She is hard to get an answer from her as well.

This class is super easy! you have three assignments for the entire semester. 5 test that she gives you study guides for and she gives you a really good study guide for the final, the final is easier then all her test. Also, if you show up every day you get 2 points added to your grade and one point for missing less then four. great class loved her
