Easy A. Gives lots of time for assignments. Isn't a hard grader. She doesn't make you pay for anything!! All materials are free!! The program she uses is helpful as well. Lots of video camera use for assignments and projects so if you aren't comfortable in front of the camera, don't take her. Overall, great professor & easy class

She won't bump your grade even if your borderline next grade level. I would not call it a beginner's class. She's not a mean teacher, does give decent feedback but is a stickler for assignments. If you send in a partial assignment, such as doing all the actual Spanish work that took hours to do but forgot to add pics she will fail the whole thing.

On top of her ridiculously hard/long assignments, her students work in discussion groups the entire semester! It's already hard enough to balance full time classes, with full time work, and home life. Putting us in groups all semester then makes us rely on 7 other people's lives, classes, work loads, etc ALL SEMESTER LONG. This class was horrible!

Professor Prucha is a wonderful professor. I took the class online, and it's fairly easily. The work that comes with the class isn't bad at all, especially compared to the amount of work I had with Spanish 1. She always responds to emails in a timely manner, and her grading is beyond fair. Professor Prucha is awesome and makes the class easier.

This is the most time consuming class I've ever had the misfortune of taking. It's a beginners Spanish Language /Spanish History class that easily takes 40 hours a week to work on. There are multiple assignment due 3 times a week. This is a full-time job, not a part-time job.

Prof Prucha was the reason why i wanted to major in Spanish! She has the kindest of hearts and makes the class as easy-going as possible. Fun, as well! You work in groups and by yourself; gain a lot of language skills. If you want to become fluent, study hard! Other than that, would take her again!

Hate this class, there's way too much work assigned for a simple elementary Spanish class. The teacher isn't very nice at all and expects you to treat the online class as a "part time" job which is beyond ridiculous. Take a different lang or a different prof.

Initially, I was enrolled in her elementary Spanish II class as a refresher course. She advised me to take the next class, the first intermediate, to become challenged. And I was. I loved Professor Prucha; she inspired me and my classmates to really understand not just the language but also the culture. We watched films and had talks in Spanish.

A little impersonal in her teaching style, and assigns a lot of homework in VHL. Tests are online and the time limit makes things a little difficult for non-native speakers. Utilized group work in class and gave a lot of different activities to ensure the class understood the material. Don't come in late or leave early--she hates that.

intensive Spanish class was super hard, it said no background of Spanish is required but the first day she is speaking Spanish. Totally lost in this class, had to get help from my spanish speaking boyfriend. everything is online, you can ask her for help but she seems to have an attitude. She shows favoritism in class as well. dont skip class!

She's a great person. Each week you read a legend from the book, so there's is homework to turn in for every class. After each legend you take a mini quiz. After four legends there is an overall quiz. Two essays, one huge project. Every day after reading a legend you have to put together a 5 minute skit with a group and you have 20 minutes.

The class itself was not too bad, it just takes her too long to grade work and she switches up due dates way too much!

She was very unprofessional. I felt like she gave you no information whatsoever on how to do each assignment. Also, she is a very harsh grader. You will feel as if you can never get a perfect score in this class.

I did not learn a thing in this class. She kind of makes up words when she doesn't remember them. I dreaded going to this class every day and I generally love my Spanish classes. I advise you to take any other professor if you want to learn an ounce of the language.

Not the most amazing Spanish teacher. I dreaded every class and I really like studying Spanish. She is a very nice person and is very understanding if you're off your game and did something incorrectly. She is easy accessible in office hours and replies quickly via canvas. I wouldn't take her again but she's not unfair or extremely difficult.

She's a great professor, one of my favorites here at UCF. She's willing to help you, but you gotta do the work and turn it in on time. Reading is necessary. Study the vocab and make sure you understand all readings. You have to talk and participate, but she helps you out if you can't find the words to say in Spanish. Good person overall.

Her classes are mandatory and are not the most exciting. Read the book before class or her lectures will go right over your head. Do the homework; it's easy and helps out your grade. If you do your work and attend class, she's always willing to help you.

Very helpful professor. Explained all the grammar concepts in a clear, easy to understand manner. Does alot of activities, some good, some not. 4 compositions, able to rewrite for a higher grade. Straightforward with her expectations. Quizzes (5) were quite difficult, final was based off the study guide. Ended up with an A in the class.
