He was the worst teacher in history. I am an A student and every test I failed. You try to ask a question and he makes you feel stupid. He doesn't have any compassion and doesn't care about the student at all.

He is a difficult teacher because he skips steps. If you are constantly raising your hand and asking him not to skips steps then he stops. He does not allow the usage of a calculator which in a way is awful and in another way good because we have become so addicted to calculators. He cracks jokes here and there. Avoid him if you can.

Do not take this class if u want college algebra to be easy. He is one of the only teachers to not give scantron tests. He skips steps and in-all will confuse the subject more.

He is the absolute worst teacher. I enjoy math &I'm very good at it, but he makes it the worst subject ever. He's never 100% clear on things &when you ask for help, he'll yell at you make you feel stupid for wanting help. He assumes you Know everything! Takes attendence at the end, so you HAVE to sit through the whole thing. DON'T take his class!

I don't believe people on here rate him correctly. He is really not that bad, the six week course is pretty intense due to lack of time but he is not a horrible professor. He has a funny/weird sense of humor to him. But DON'T EXPECT to pass the class if you aren't willing to put your work and study on MAX.

Dont know what everybody is complaining about, he is a good teacher he just has a very dry sense of humor. I dont understand math at all and i ended up learning a lot more than i knew before. This is college so your gonna be expected to put in some effort to get a good grade not get everything spoon fed to you.

This teacher was not helpful whatsoever. He is inflexible and cannot go off track to answer anything else. It was very difficult because he was always on a time crunch, so he taught the material as if you should already know it. This class brought down my GPA even thought I was in math lab constantly trying to learn the material some other way.

I really feel that he only at pbcc for a paycheck, he is more intrested in the stock market than anything, and the only day i really learned anything was when someone from admin came and sat in the class.He skips steps,I basicly count on the math lab vidios to teach me what I should know. Mr. Valenti is my current Intermediate Algebra professor. I find his methodology dull, uninspiring, and he doesn't seem to genuinely care about what a student gets out of his class. I think it's also important to note that this attitude seems completely deliberate, as if that's his intention. Lots of dark sarcasm from him. Not recommended!

DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!!!!!!!!!!!! If you value your grade and want to pass math, pick someone else. Valenti was 15 min late to all our classes, skips steps, and is heartless on grading. Class started with 31 students and had only 10 on the final day. Said he wanted to get all students to drop so he could show up and get paid to drink coffee.

This professor is horriable. 1st of all i'm not good with math. He was late and would give an hour and half for break then let us out late from class. I finally had to tell him something cause everyone was complaining about it he then made it same like I was the mean one! About 95% of the class did not get anything from his notes.
