This teacher is more focused on how you word a sentence on a quiz than your learning. If you don't speak Yoshi you won't pass! Takes away points for everything. She nitpicks at everything. Nobody wanted to participate in class for fear of being torn apart.

She's a great teacher! I totally love her and the class. She's very perceptive and knows when a student has studied and when he/she has not. She's so beautiful and knowledgeable that anything she says is quickly taken to heart. My only criticism is that she is unaware of her beauty and intellect. I'm crazy about her!

I took this course with another professor and had to repeat it. Prof. Joshi explains the material extremely well and gives many examples. I never thought I could actually understand statistics. I recommend her highly.

Prof.Joshi knows what she is teaching, she explains everything very clearly and makes sure that the students understand.Sometimes she seems mean and makes students feel dumb but she really teaches the material.Just attend every class and study and you will be fine, occasional quizzes and homework, a midterm and final, they aren't that difficult.

DONT TAKE HER!!!!!!!!!!!If u like anal teachers u should take her. If u read the book the information is easy to understand but the way she teaches it, make the subject matter more difficult then it really is. She likes things her way and u will have to fight for every point in class.
