Comment:

I would not recommend this professor. She is disorganized and difficult to follow. She is a nice person but in my opinion is not fit to teach. However, it's still possible to do well if you take the time to learn on your own and practice. Professor Leonard and The Organic Chemistry Tutor on YouTube were lifesavers and I highly recommend them.

Don't take her!! She reads math like a history lessons. she doesn't understand that we don't hear her voice at the back and her writing on board is terrible. and her assignments are totally different from what is done in class. you'll have to study the whole material on your own, don't rely on her. also the tests are really hard.

You use the textbook, you fail cause she doesn't follow the syllabus. You don't use the textbook, you'll still fail. A lose-lose situation, she is tenure-track so nothing will change at York.

She doesn't realize that most of us don't understand her writing nor her speaking without any breaks. It would be nice if she at least if we got it. She is very book-based, its hard to understand her.

Save your life by switching out... She literally takes all course materials off the textbook, and when she doesnt, she expects you to be in class since she doesnt post any notes online: basically, attendance is mandatory also, beware of the tests. She puts definitions on a math test (yeah) and expects you to memorize them

She's not as bad as some of the other reviews suggest. Yes, she's not a great communicator and may seem confusing at times, but she's very knowledgable and willing to help if you take some extra time during the lecture breaks. For me, personally, I found her class very straightforward, and the concepts taught are straight out of the textbook.

I am being 100% honest she was the worst professor I have ever had. She cannot teach the material at all, her tests are VERY difficult (like at a pint where you start laugh by look at your test and leave literally 5 mins after the test starts). If you're smart then you wouldn't take ANY classes with this professor id rather get run over by a truck.

If you think you want to take the calculus course with her, think again. average for tests were around 30%, you are better off going with math 1013/1014. avoid at all costs. Skip class you wont pass. Attend class? Chances are you wont increase your chance to pass.

This is legit the worst teacher i've ever had. She writes on the blackboard which make its so hard to see if you're not right at the front of the class. Also, her writing is so hard to read which make it even worse. She is a very hard marker and doesn't teach well at all. If you are in this class i suggest you drop out immediately. Good luck.

Terrible prof. Teaches directly from the textbook. Tests were impossible and everyone got bellcurved over 10% Avoid her at all costs. She is one of the worst math profs are york.

This is the worst Lecturer hands down. I have done university before twice so in no way was I looking to be cuddled. This woman is ridiculous and just simply read the mathematical content as if it's a Humanities course. Everything she tells you to do for an assignment. Her tests assignments and exams are so hard. Please avoid her at all costs.

Good professor. Assignments were pretty good. The class average was low and her tests were hard ,students even got 0/100 on first midterm but if you study you are good to go otherwise no surprise you would fail. She did not bell curve but made homework worth 10 to 25% .

She is such a tough grader. She goes through everything really fast, so you won't be able to understand much. Her homework may be considered as a lot, some of the questions aren't even covered in class.

I'm currently in her 1300 class and let me tell you shes absolutely mediocre. Spends 5 mins on some of the hardest topics in calculus. Her hand writing is terrible and can't be read even in the first row. And her tests and exams don't reflect the assignments or the homework. Don't take her class trust me you will regret it.

Avoid!! Worst prof I've ever had. she does not teach. I end up teaching myself the material. I do nothing but sit with my mathbook, teaching myself every lesson, and doing 80% of the textbook questions to prepare. I get perfect on online assignments. But somehow fail her exams? So discouraging considering i work so hard, understand it but do bad??

This prof is awful. Her lectures are meaningless seeing as all she does is write directly from the textbook onto the board. She is not very articulate and often can't answer students question's efficiently. The assignments are easy while her tests are much harder. If you can avoid this prof do so; your GPA will take a hit unless you work tirelessly
